I have a feeling that GT4 will have the best of both GT2 and 3. As long as it has online play it will be great, thats probably why I don't play GT3 anymore. I don't have fun playing the comp or someone in two player mode.
Speaking of Online gaming, I'm not sure about you all but I'm not sure if it's gonna be that great at least if it's like playing mech assualt online. I've been playing it with a friend all the time and we always get bounced. I don't know why and it's so damn irritating. So, if GT4 is gonna have it I'm not gonna get all excited because if it goes anything like what I've been seeing it won't be all that. Besides I don't have hs connection. I think and hope too that GT4 contains the best of GT2 and 3.
thats weird, my friend plays madden online for PS2 and it works great. I guess either way, it will be better than nothing. Thats the reason I bought PS2, if you can't play GT4 online than its pointless IMO.
Another thing I found out. (you guys already knew this) But the D-pad turns MUCH slower than the analog joysticks? Why did they do this? I do not like using the sticks. And ever since GT3 came out I just couldnt figure out why I wasn't as good as I used to be. When I would play I would feel sluggish. I would be off on the apex's by alittle, I would tap walls here and there. If the car started to oversteer it took me longer to get it under controll.
So after doing some searching on here, I noticed people prefer to drift with the sticks. So I dusted off GT3 and put it back in the PS2. I checked how fast the wheels turned with the d-pad and then with the stick. The stick was MUCH MUCH faster. I know this is old news to you guys but I am really aggrivated. If GT4 is the same way I am screwed
Really all of the games had their unique qualities and things, but if you don't compare the GT series games to each other and rather as individual games, then they were all good.
