GT1 hybrid codes

I bought GT1 a month ago. I wanted to try some hybrids but the Codes I've found don't seem to work. I'm wondering if the codes just aren't compatible with my GS ver 4.4. I have the GT ver 1.0

The cheat cartridge needs to be one for the old Playstation (not sure what the one you have is). Are you running them on an old Playstation?

Buy a Dexdrive on Ebay for about $8.00 US, I will send you a garage full of Awesome Hybrids, You alter them to your likings!!!

Gameshark CDX would be fine on the old Playstation for entering codes. What codes have you tried?

I tired a few like the displacement, transmission, and turbo tune codes.
