GT1 new day times: official Time Attack

This thread is open for the official Time Attack on the new day times tracks in GT1. The first season will start on Monday, December 17th

How to make a custom day time:
1) Activate the Track Modifier BEFORE to enter the race. For example activate the Special Stage Route 11 code and enter to the Grand Valley Endurance Race
2) Once loaded, you will notice that the track isn't Grand Valley SpeedWay, but Special Stage Route 11
3) Then enter to the qualify. You will race in the original track, then don't worry. If the lights of the car are on or off means that is correct
4) Press start and press on "skip qualify"
5) Once loaded the pre-race screen, enter to the free run and voilà! You have a day time Special Stage Route 11!


SEASON 1 RULES:
Track: Trial Mountain Night
Car: ONLY 4WDs and power LIMITED to 280hp. Weight HAVEN'T a limit
MODs allowed: the car MUST be STOCK
Track Rules: you have 5 tries for set the best time. A lap is counted if the car MAINTAINS AT LEAST 2 WHEELS on the track. Wall hits and cut the LAST CORNER ISN'T ALLOWED


SEASON 2 RULES:
Track: Clubman Stage Route 5 Day
Car: ONLY FF/FWDs and power LIMITED to 200hp. MAX Weight 1325kg
MODs allowed: Sport Brakes, Race Suspensions, Triple Plate Clutch and Racing Flywheel. Every other mod ISN'T allowed
Track rules: always 5 tries for set the best time. NO WALL HIT for save time


SEASON 3 RULES:
Track: High Speed Ring Sunset
Car: ONLY FR/RWD and power LIMITED to 400hp. MAX weight 1500kg. You CAN'T use MR cars
MODs allowed: Racing muffler, ROM Tune, Port/Polish, Engine Balance and SEMI-RACING Hard/Hard tires. Every other MOD is BANNED
NOTE: Who drive turbo cars can upgrade the own turbo till Stage 3, then you CAN'T install a Stage 4 turbo. Intercooler upgrades AREN'T allowed
Track rules: 5 laps for set the best time. This time you MUST use ONLY wall hits for saving the most time possible. You CAN'T cut turns passing on the grass. The run MUST ONLY BRAKELESS or the run WON'T valid. You can lift the throttle. Isn't counted as braking

1.29.408 on lap 5 no hit, no cut. Will post a video of an actual hotlap if people start posting times.

Nice, don't post the video, I believe that is a clean lap, but maybe other people don't... Then post a video about this lol And I also use the Impreza Type-R for this TA. Is stock, right? Is the tires compound stock? Have you used AT or MT? However, thanks for posting the your time
EDIT: I'm training and I'm slower than you about 10 seconds... For now lol

Quick question, while i would love to participate, i don't have a game shark. What is the purpose of the gameshark codes? Could we not just go to the time trial and select the track or does the gameshark code open up another feature?
 
Stock everything, just bought the car and went to the SSR11 enduro to do the time manipulation and ran manual like I usually do for time trials ^^ (otherwise I drive auto)

@353 Hemi Technically you don't need the gameshark for the time trial. It's a manipulation that glitches the game into loading an other color palette for the skybox and ambiant light. I does't affect the grip of a car and whatnot

I'll let @Sal_89 decide however.

If you play on ePSXe just install PEC or use the internal plug-in disponible from the 2.x.x versions, but if you play on an actual Sony PlayStation you must buy a GameShark. You must insert the codes in the list of GT1 codes
 
I might just do this in a bit. Do we have to use the SSR11 swap or can we swap with another track time setting?
 
Damn, that was intense. Tried a few other cars ('95 GTO MR, '96 GTO & Lancer Evo 3) but couldn't beat the stats of the STi Type R. I even reconfigured my controller so the virtual right analog sticks (set to do the throttle and brake) were assigned to the L2/R2 in DS4Windows to match my GT Sport setup. No way could I beat that 1:29 though. Got a 1:32.007 with video proof if you need it. Manual transmission.

Excuse me for the double post. The first season of NDT Time Attack is officially closed. The winner is @submaniac93, with a time of 1:29:408 obtained with a Chase Yellow Subaru Impreza WRX STi Type R.
The second season will start on Monday, 24th December at Clubman Stage Route 5 Day. The participants are requested to see the conversation about the second season with all of the rules. Thanks

Finally I have beaten submaniac93's time
 
I felt like such a dumbo after Sub mentioned the Integra in the convo. How could I have missed that beast? :lol: Anyway, after giving up on the FTO, I managed to score a 0:56:452 in the 'Teggy Type R with the mods allowed and on MT ('Star Light Black Pearl' if you're still keeping track of the colours). It does feel like a cheap step-up though, one where I'll surely be knocked back down if Sub does another round.

BOY THIS TOOK SO LONG TO BEAT xD

Had to switch to the Integra as I couldn't get anything under 55.2xx times with it no matter what I did.
Afte rlike 4 or 5 attemps and getting used to how this one handles, I downed a 55.052, and somehow a 54.655 the next. I'm pretty sure I won't be able to redo such a lap anytime soon, unless I spend an other 2 hours on it xD
