Before you star writing down codes, find out which version of your GT2 game you have. There are 3 North American versions (v1.0, v1.1, v1.2, a PAL, and Japanese version).
The codes vary from version to version. Also, I'm not completely hip to what a GameShark2 is, if it's a CDX or the standard "parallel port" variey, then the way you put codes in varies as well.
