I have both GT1 and GT2 pal versions which I have converted to an eboot and play on my Psp, it's been over 5 years since I done this but I can't find my Save folder for GT2 SCES_12380 I do remember that when you save it somehow it merges with the GT1 SCES_00984 save folder.
I found by using MemcardRex 1.8 the GT2 blocks appeared on the GT1 save.
If I have both US versions of GT1 and GT2 the save folders are separate.
It only happens when I have both pal versions.
Trying to remember how I put my saves on GT2 now.

Solved the problem, when I ripped the gt2 disc the program I used kept the gt1 game id! 🙄
