Another reason I do not join is that I feel it would be wrong to seek candidates and then block them by adding myself, plus, I'm not good enough. I rarely race, mostly free run.
 
to add an additional note about the 9 bords challenge (V2), i was bouncing around the Granturismo.com forum and found this short thread.

So they're drumming up a business for it as well. I've been registered there for quite some time, so I'll try to bang a few drums over there.

This is shaping up to be an interesting challenge.
