How many hours do you have into the DB so far?

The bulk of the work is getting all the car data in. The programming probably took me 6 hours total max. Entering the data though is probably about 16 hours.

Couple of sort-of-errata for you, but it's version dependent...

There's no Polyphony 001 or Polyphony 002...
The sell price of the Acura RS-X in the PAL version is 75000, not 7500...

I don't know how on Earth you can factor that into the pages, as they're nice and neat...

Hmmm.....
In that case, can you get me the virgin stats to Polyphony 001 and 002 as well as the Diablo and any car that's not included in the NTSC version? When I say virgin, I mean no race, mods, oil change or car wash has been done to it since you've won it. Originally I wanted to make the list for NTSC version only for the sake of consistency, but that would be unfair. As well, to have track times on the site means that I should include everybody. Some of the best times I've seen are done by people from the PAL regions. (There're some very good racers in NA and the NTSC regions too, please don't take offense.) I'm working on the prototype for the login/registration/track times/car settings pages on a different server. You'll see them as one big upgrade when I change the DNS A record to the new server (This one might take another week or so though).

Also, I have moved the database from an Access file to MS SQL. There should be an improvement in performance. Plus I don't have to turn off the CF service (And effectively take the site offline) everytime I make a database update.

Well... I can't get pictures of the Diablo (and 996 911 GT3, Stratos, Alitalia Stratos) but I can get the dimensions and power/torque numbers for you.

Is the R34 Skyline GT-R Mspec in there?

No, I don't think so...
I just realized that I can get the pics for the Diablo and stuff, so no worries there. The Polyphony 001 is the F094/S and the Polyphony 002 is the F688/S. That's why I can't get pics for them using my NA PS2. But I can get the Diablo pics and the Stratos, etc using MK's program. Although I don't remember seeing an mspec anywhere.

Open mk's, open a garage and hit F6 for Change Car.

Drag the price list to the first column and "Sort By First Column". Go down to 10 million credits - there's the M-spec. Silica breath metallic is the best colour.

Database Test

Please add only real settings into the db as it is one and the same as the live db. Also know that I will be working on that page from time to time, which might require me to take down the site. The database at kidengineer.com is always be up, however. Please report any bugs/problems/suggestions here.
