GT3 getting boring???

its probably b/c u suck at it, no offense. But when u can do TT's and drive cars w/o ASM ans TCS for fun, it becomes a blast.

True, I've noticed most people who dislike the Gran Turismo games usually don't like cars (duh), or aren't skilled enough/lack patience. :shakehead

so true so true but then i have a brother who loves cars but lacks the patience but he plays rpgs???? (Don't they require a lot of patience ????)

Lol. It does get burdensome to have to race just for money for mods. Thats the only thing that gets to me.
Ive just recently gone back to playing the gt2 game and am enjoying the tracks I can't have on the gt3 game.
Sometimes a change of pace is needed when you get bored with one version of the gt game.

I'll quite often go a couple of weeks without playing it - then, I don't know, the sight of the Logitech wheel sitting forlornly on the desk must tweak my subconcious, I'll fire up GT3 to just have a little run in a stock NSX or something - and play it 3 hours a night for three weeks straight.

I sometimes attack the percent numbers hoping for it to break past the halfway mark. Other times, it'll sit there for a while. Everything's good in moderation...

Boring?? Well, to tell the truth, I no longer run the races (play the game) for fun (AI's too slow anyways...) but I do find the fastest times here or at GT3Times.com and try to beat them or enter online challenges on this site for fun in competing with real people. 200 mph around a slight right and centimeters off the wall will never be boring to me.
There are even times when I don't want to race on a particular day but times are due so I load the game and watch the intro. If that doesn't get you in the mood you are not a true fan of racing and/or of cars!

I havent played gt3 in a long time now, and i think the main reason is there is not enough good tracks, and i think the engine sounds are to tame! They dont "fire" me up THAT much anymore! Gimme High speed ring and the rest of the old tracks from GT1-2 and i'll be playing it forever! Plus new engine sounds that "fire me up"!

Ahh... I spend most of my time playing GT3 with friends now...

That's about the only lasting appeal it's got for me. Although, I just started a new game on a different memory card, 'cause I enjoy doing the Beginner and Amateur races the most. I just don't have the time to blow 2 hours on an endurance race...

Same for me Voltron, i don't play the game as in "do the races for %" I just want to race people from around the world , and even though GT Isn't online as such, this is the best racing game ever!I will never tire of it ( until GT4 that is ) And racing against other peoples times posted online and entering competitions can never be boring for me :)

i get tired of it sometimes, but not often.
when i can't think of anything to do, i play it.
that's a sign....

I haven't played for about three weeks now, but I don't think its boring. I just need a few breaks once and a while.

I used to play GTA:3, but i got bored, even with gameshark and making new car's it got boring, i can't wait to get a sharkport and hybrid real cars. (Monster Truck Mini-Cooper will be my first)

I go on and off, I'll play it for like a week or two straight, then taker a break and play some GTA3, NBA Street, or my Super Nintendo, but no, GT3 never gets boring.

well for me, GT3 never really captured me with "fun". The AI sux all ass and therfore doesn't provide any challenge. All my friends can't play GT3 for ****! lol! but, i still play it quite often, just for the cars. I love the Zonda racer and Diablo, just taking them around the track is satisfying :D But of course i am also tryin to get the 100%, im in the middle of the final series. After that, i probably won't play GT3 that much....err maybe. ;)

I don't think it could ever get boring, except during enduros, but I love to race and I love just messing around. My friends and I always screw around just trying to get a car that runs High 10's, in the 1/4 mile, to high 9's, we could do that for hours, and don't even ask me how many times I played it from midnight to 5a.m. just having drift battles and having best drift contests.

I play GT3 like other people said for a week of so hard, every night for a couple of hours then it sits for a couple of weeks while I play another game but I always go back to GT

I dont know i get bored after a while , ill play another game for a lil bit when i decide to play again, but i always come back to racing games, and normally its :gt:
