No offense, but each game has it's strengths and weaknesses, which is why i voted for both
i've only played AM @ a friend's house once or twice, but it has that ricey theme which i kinda like
but gt3 has alot of realism which is also cool
you can't really compare two games unlesss you specifically say what category

for all the body kit modification and for the ONLINE part of auto modellista i choose that game

but gt3 is the uncontested best driving simulator in the world cause auto modellista is more of a middle between arcade and simulation

GT3 thrashes AM! While the customising options are cool, even for an arcade game the driving experience of AM is laughably bad. I was so dissapointed with AM that I took it back the next day for a refund!

GT3 is better, but with online ablilty Auto Modellista is limitless.

I've been playing A.M. for the last 5 days straight and havent touched GT3.

It is sooo fun lapping peeps online.

Auto Modillesta - is it a good game ? I've been reading alot about it , and I've seen alot of positive reviews too . Only played it once though ( it was like 2 minutes ) I take it it's a very nice game huh ?

I think I'm gonna purchase it soon .

Oh - BTW , I voted for GT3 and A.M .

I love them both, but if it weren't for the online capabilites, I would have stopped playing AM after the second day of owning it. But the network mode is so much fun, that I can't put this game down. I almost didn't go out with my friends on Friday, and Saturday nights, cuz I didn't want to put the controller down, but then I remembered that I like having a life, so I had to turn off my PS2, and give it a rest for a few hours.

I actually play both, but I just realised that AM is far far superior to GT3... You can see the exhaust pipes vibrate in 3rd person view and that RULES :trouble: They HAVE to incorporate that in GT4 !

heh i think that's the thing about auto modellista, everyone loves their own special part of it that other games simply dont have.

i too love the exhaust vibrating, but i also love the dump valve sound and the misfiring system when ur on the throttle for too long and u release.

the menus are better too, as is the way you modify cars.

i just cant get over the driving experience. just wish u could slide a bit more.

oh yeah and removing all the gauges and just driving with the car, nothing else. that rules :D

Auto Modellista, sux. I had it reserved for the longest, when I finally got it I was so dissapointed. Guy, you get so many options on rims, but they all look alike. Don't get me started on the rest of the game.

I'm guessing that you haven't played the game online yet. Cuz most people I've talked to have a different view on the game once they get to play it online. I liked the game either way, but the network mode is what keeps me entertained.

We don't here in denmark either, but I'm hoping that in a couple of months we'll be online....

Repeat . I hope.... :irked:

where do you buy games that you can return them after opening them?

I like GT3 much better, but AM has some definite advantages with online capabilities and all the cool body modifications so you can really personalize your car.

I didn’t get to play the game online but the single player part gets really boring really fast. Doing the exact same 4 races over and over is not fun in the least. Changing cars doesn't help since they all handle very much a like. It was a disappointment; I really suggest you rent the game first.
