Gt3 Or Gta3?

Im gona purchase a PS2 this weekend, but i cant discide on which game i should buy first (Gran Turismo 3 or Grand Theft Auto 3) plz give me your feedback.

Go and try them out.

I would suggest, at severe risk of flaming by the forum, that GTA3 might be a better first buy (buy GT3 next) because of the variety of gameplay - if you buy GT3, great game though it is, if you get a bit tired of car racing, you haven't got a whole lot of variety, but in GTA3, you can drive/walk around on a wide variety of missions, there's just a lot of different things, so it might be a better first title.

If you deeply love to race cars, of course, there's no choice...

well provided u dont live in Oz, i'd also go for GTA3. But get them both if you can, i did and it's well worth it.

but really they are completely dif games, depends what your into; full on racing or random killing/crime sprees.

This is a really tough choice and it does depend what your into. They are both excellent games in all areas. I think it is much easier to finish GTA3, so the lifespan on GT3 is much larger. Although saying this there is plenty to do in both games after completing them, probablys more so in GTA3. I would recommend that you buy them both, providing you have the money to, because they are both worth it.

Depends what you mean by 'finish' for GTA3, because there's so many side missions, plus just the fun of exploring.

Ahhhhh, what a choice... I'd have to agree with everyone else, I don't if it is cause I am addicted to GTA3 right now, or if its cause I am burnt out of GT3.

Either way you go, you'll have a great game, with great forums to back them up with tons of help if you need it.

I had that same problem for Christmas...i solved the problem by buying them both hehehe...No but seriosuly it's more of a personal prefrence. If you really want to see PS2 grpahics at work then buy GT3. If you're looking for something a little less...hmmm...stressful....than buy the GTA3. And if you're a cr@ppy driver and still buy GT3. Make sure you buy an extra controller becuase you might break it the first one due to throwing it down after youve tried for the 30th time trying to beat the last race of the 80's cup, with your god forsaken mazda miata which understeers when you hot the left or right button. SDo whatever, just have fun

well i aint a crappy GT driver cause i pretty much mastered GT2, got da S licence and a tOn of cars. But GT3 has no used cars....dats very disapointing because i loved my ol' skoool carz in GT2 like the used skylines, hondas..etc.
This is why im leaning toward GTA3 because ive heard nothing but good things about it. But i havnt made any final decisions yet..

you have too buy both, they are the best games since sliced bread(what was best before this). but play gta3 first, coz once you start gt3 you will be locked into it for months!!

Ok, there are two things you *MUST* do in GTA3. #1 Turn on the crazy pedestrian cheat, next turn on the Pedestrians hate each other cheat....
