Risingson's time is a good one, not good enough to win this round but still good.

This is all making interesting reading... I've posted my best (confidence > high) and I thought people were going to be quicker as I've seen my time beaten by a friend of mine in a stock R34. :(

I'm guessing a lot of Vette runners have broken 5 mins tho'. :rolleyes:

OK then I'll edit my last statement to '...in a stock R34.' ;)

Ran in my stock 400R (again - I just can't help it!) and ran 4:54.xxx's regularly, best lap around 4:50.xxx! :rolleyes:

Perhaps next challenge could be...? :D
 
is the 400r in arcade mode or is it a sim car?
 
No it's a sim prize car, my personal favourite as well. Not the quickest car, but we seem to have an understanding!! Same since GT2.
 
i think the 400r was a prize car in the expert races in GT1
 
Well, I know there's probably still room for improvement. If I smoothed out a few rough corners I could probably break five minutes. :)
 
Yep, I think you're right. I didn't finish GT1 till after GT2! I was a late starter, bit of a 'Sega' man in those days. :p

I'd like to host another challenge, now that R34 v. Z06 is done. I'm thinking a small series of races (like this one) but with different cars. I'd like at least one of the cars to be an Integra Type R. Thoughts?
 
Yeah I'd be up for a few best-of-three challenges like this. :)
 
How about Integra Type R vs FTO? Both about the same in terms of hp and weight, should be ideal!
