I started with the early style Miata with a Chip and added a muffler shortly thereafter.

I got the cheap Miata. Put on some mods and race. Occasionally though I do start with the Daihatsu Mira TR-XX something to do the Lightweight K-Cup for more money.

A good way to save money if you don't think you can get all golds in the B license is to get one of the cars that can participate in the lightweight challenge...

I also started with a Miata, it was a '93 model it costs over 12,000 credits.

1.8 liter first gen miata or sprinter like most every one has been saying. the miata is slightly better performance wise but both will do the job easily. i did an entire writeup on this one time but i cant seem to find it. come to think of it a cant find any of my old writeups... but yeah.
