GT3 with Initial D..just a suggeston

hi there everybody! just wated to make a suggestion to some of you who don't like the music they put on GT3..please feel free to ignore me,but this is just something I do and the races are MUCH cooler and more intense!!if you have ever heard any of the songs from Initial D,then I suggestion you either you buy you a soundtrack from it,or burn you a copy with some of their songs on it...so,just grab your portable cd player and set it down next to you and just put the headphones on and turn the t.v. volume all the way down...I think whenever you are practicing your drifting (me! ^_^) then the Initial D music just fits the mood perfectly =D!here are just some of my favorite songs to race with when I'm racing against my ghost car to beat it's time on Free Run...

Beat of the Rising Sun

Heartbeat
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
Lost into the Night

and plenty more!so if anybody would like to try my suggestion and you don't have the songs,then be sure to let me know and I'll send them to you so your racing/drift experience can be more insane!!

lol, my computer is near my ps2 so i just play Initial D songs from my comp ^_^ no need to turn down the sweet sound of engines revving up!! i just turn off the bgm at the options menu

I sorta downloaded them also ^_^,maybe that's why I have like over 300 Initial D songs 0_o,no overexaggeration on that either,hehehe =D,well,I actually did order two Initial D soundtracks a couple of days ago..and they're under $10!check it out!

Man, I chose a bunch of songs from the Initial D arcade stage for my alternative music. Sega always screws me over so theres a little chance that we'll get it over here. Here's my list

These songs all rule. If you get a chance, search for that game. It has a great steering wheel and you can do or drive anything in the show, as well as soup up your car as the game progresses. also look for the memory card so you can save your progress.

Oh yeah, the guy who ordered the CD's, is that site reputable? How was the service and everything? And, if you can, tell me how were the disc's quality and stuff. I'm makin my parents buy me some of those for my birthday! :confused:
 
hey! :) sorry for responding soooo late,but I haven't checked on this site in a while,so I just have read your message,sorry ^_^!anyways,yes,the cds are in good quality,no problem what so ever and the price was really awsome too,so you should get them!or maybe even the whole 4 or 5 cd collection!you should ask your parents for that for your b-day!hopefully I'll be getting that whole cd set for either my birthday or christmas,so that'll be awsome!and by the way,those cds are all remixed,except for Initial D Selection..the one that has that Super Eurobeat on the front and also with the collection (which is basically a collection of Super Eurobeat Initial D Remixed songs!so it must be pretty awsome!)anyways,most of the songs on their are remixed though,there's some of them that are the originals,but trust me,the remixed versions sound much better,and if you wanna sample from that Super Eurobeat cd that I ordered,then I could send you a song from the cd,so if you want a sample of what's on the cd,then please,e-mail me!

Why haven't any of you mentioned Move- Around The World?

You should all be shot... its the best song from Initial D..
 
actually,you should be shot,but I suppose I got a "shot" of adrenalinized pumping Hi-Res songs that you obviously have NEVER heard of...and if you're doing a one-on-one battle,then you should listen to either one of these songs...

but that's just SOME of the songs that would be so awsome to race to..comeon man,Around the World is too slow if you're racing against someone and it's such a close race!you need your blood pumpin' through the whole race,so listen to one of the songs I mentioned!!

quick thing...when I posted "Rage Your Dream,Ending to 1st Stage?(after the race between Shingo and Takumi)" I just wanted people to know that I didn't post it to mean that the last race of the 1st Stage was with Shingo against Takumi,I was just sayin' that I couldn't remember if it was the ending theme to the 1st stage or not,but I do know that it plays after the "battle/race/gumtape match?/death match(I guess you could also say ^_^)" so I just wanted to confirm that,hehe =D
 
well,you don't have to be from the states to know what it is,since it originated in Japan,of course :D ..well,besides the fact that Tokyopop is making it and bringing it to the states,this is how the Japanese version went..there's a guy,about 19 (I think) and he delivers tofu everyday to this guy that lives in this motel,but in order to get there,he must drive through the Akina mountain pass and the way he drives through the mountain passes even amazes some professional racers,since he's only 19..he drives one of my favorite cars..an AE86 (Toyota Sprinter Trueno/Hachi-Roku) and everybody thinks it's so slow and that it can't beat one of the professionals..or any other cars...so a team known as the Red Suns come to Akina to race their fastest driver on Akina's mountain pass..little does everybody know,including his friends that...Takumi can do a technique which is called a drift..and it takes mostly anybody a REEEEEEALLY long time to master this technique,but Takumi knows it,and he's 19!so,all of his friends find out that he has skills and he decides to race against the Red Suns 2nd best racer...Keisuke Takahashi (is that last name spelt right?) oh,and by the way..Takumi races with the team known as the Akina Speed Stars...but anyways,Takumi races against Keisuke with his skills of the technique of drifting...but is it enough to beat him?can his technique help him become the downhill legend,or is there someone better than him at his own technique?how will overcome the challenges of racing against overhorsepowered cars?

Find out from ordering this awsome anime,Initial D (which is mainly based around the technique of drifting,and if somebody wants to,then please explain it,cause I JUST now have figured out how to do it on Gran Turismo 3,so if there's a veteran that would like to share his information about drifting,then please do so =D)

Takumi was 18 when the show starts.

Although he was driving for 5 years before that.
 
Alright, thanks a lot for all of that info! I'll probably get the ones you got, the Original Movie Soundtrack from 1st Stage is full of normal orchestral songs! Ugh! I'll give you a few tips on the subject: check any post with CudaMan on it! After that, ask me for some settings!
 
Im thinking of trying to recreate the race between Takumi and the guy with the Yellow Rx-7 on GT3.

What do you think?
I suppose Deep forest reverse would be slightly simmilar to akina eh?
Then I can capture it onto my Pc and add Running in the 90`s as the soundtrack!
 
or...maybe you could use the same song they used in Initial D when they raced...Beat of the Rising Sun!Trust me,it'll be even more energetic with that song!especially if it's a close race ^_^!oh yeah,by the way...what model car are you usin' to represent Keisuke's car (the yellow FD) cause I couldn't buy a yellow RX-7/FD3S like the one Keisuke drives,so could you tell me which one you bought?thanks!

Dang! there isnt a yellow RX-7! aww crap.

Im used to playing GTC which actually has a Yellow RX-7 grr

I think you can win a gold or yellow FD somewhere on gt3, maybe that will have to do.
 
There is a Yellow RX7FD in GT3..
I have it.

You have to win it to get it though.
 
if you remember by any chance on which race it was in which league (you know,beginner,medium diff. or expert) then could you please tell me,cause that would be a great car to add to the collection of my Initial D cars,thanks in advance ^_^!

I got it, Japan Championship on Amateur League!

Do it!! Remember: Use the normal AE86 tho, and the broad hairpins, i guess, can substitute... I don't know how you are gonna do the gutter move, but you can do the 1 inch guard rail clearances, and jump the gap with the MR2 at Leguna Seca.


Wait for Auto Modellista, who sports the Akagi Downhill level!
 
wow!it has Akagi on there?!awsome!I heard that was gonna be like an anime-style racing game..is that true?I've seen the graphics from some screenshots and it just looked like it was 2D or somethin' like that...but I still wanna play it though!and now,knowing that they'll be havin' the Akagi downhill level on the game..that makes me want it even more!now where's Akina Mountain Pass when we need it?! :odd:

i believe the correct term for the graphic style they're using is cel shading like how ZOE 2 and Zelda (GC) is gonna be like.
