Me, (AAE_Apex_Zero) am starting a new amateur racing series consisting of 6 race every other Wednesday, GT300 races starting on June 13th, 2011 at about 3 P.M. Pacific time. I will have one race director that will tell me about any foul driving that looks intentional. The basic race settings are going to be No driving line, ASM, STM, Active steering, Heavy damage and penalties, grip reduction real and laps from 10-20 depending on the track. As for me the class and car I’m using is GT300 in the Cusco Subaru. And I’m putting a limit of 10 racers per class as well as the car you choose first you MUST use it for the rest of the season. Qualifying will be a 10 minute timed session with grid order is fastest first.
Points are as follows:
1st: 50 pts
2nd:40 pts
3rd:35 pts
4th:30 pts
5th:20 pts
6th:15 pts
7th:10 pts
8th:5 pts
9th:1 pt
10th - 12th:0 pts
Bonus Points:
Fastest Lap (Race):10 pts
Pole position: 5 pts
The series will have one drop race, it will be your worst race and CAN NOT be avoided. So if you have a perfect series (all wins, poles and fastest laps) your last race will be dropped. This one drop also counts for if you miss a race or disconnect. For any further questions message me on PSN

Prizes for individual races are strictly for the winner. They get their choice of silver or gold chrome paint.

Prizes for the top 3 finnishers at the end of the races are as follows:
1st: GT Accadamy 370 Z and 2 sets of racing soft tires
2nd: Complete engine upgrade (stages 1,2, and 3) and 1 set of racing medium tires
3rd: Complete weight reduction (stages 1,2, and 3)

It sounds good, but no way I could race that early in the day, that's 1pm for me.

Can you run both classes?
 
I wish i could but the GT servers wont take 22 people (20 racers and 2 race directors). And plus it would be a pain to keep track of both the classes if they got mixed, say the last place Gt500 car was in the middle of the GT300 feild. Also if there was some form of electronic scoring it'd be much easier, but unfortunately neither of those exist in GT5 otherwise I would. Thank you for the suggestion though
 
Has this completely died or will it be re-opened again? wanting to get in mixed gt500 & Gt300 racing

When are you planning on running the first race, the OP says it is tonight, but we don't even know what track we will be on?

Do we have to message you on psn to get details? The messaging system on there isn't all that great. Will you also post details about tracks, results, etc., on here?
 
looks like its not going down. i just sent the op a friends request/message a while ago so i could get on the track but no response.
 
Thats exactly why. and im going to wait another month before i try again so all the slots that people signed up for are still signed up its just i need more people who want to race.
 
How many are signed up now? If only one person can use a certain car, that is going to limit your entries, there are only about 9 GT300 cars and you have to count the JGTC cars to get that many.
 
Since I am limiting the class to strictly GT300 the one car per person rule has been negated due to that fact and currently 5 are signed up and im bumping the limit to 12 racers
