I have my sharkport hooked up and the program downloaded, but I can't figure out how to get my garage into the program. Can anybody help me?

GT3edit, or MK's Program right?

Assuming that you are speaking of the MK program,

So first you need to "import" and "back-up" your "game data" from your PS2 to your PC by using the Sharkport. Assuming that you have done this already, you now need to open the MK program and then click on "file." Then click on "read garage."
At this point you will be prompted to chose the file in which you saved the GT3 Game Data.

The Game Data usually resides in:

C: Drive ---> Program Files ---> Interact ---> Sharkport ---> Savedgames. Then select your Game Data Save and it should then show up in the program.

Note that mk's GT3gEdit programme will read any xps, sps, xpo, spo and psu files - not just saved games. You can open lap, licence, time trial and race replays there too.

Aaaand check the link in my signature.

Edit: Just read the other post... And you have :D

How do I know which GT3 gamedata save is the one I want?

That CAN be a problem - the Port gives files stupid names, partially based on date, but partially not.

The easiest way to do it is to only keep ONE saved game file in the Xport/Sharkport folder at any time, and rename each file whenever you transfer it off the card onto the PC.

With replays, open the files in notepad. The name you gave the file withink the game should be displayed on the top line.

There's a utility I link to on my hybrid-building page which allows you to scan the contents of any folder containing replay files and determine what they are - and rename them accordingly (and automatically). Look around my Xport Files section for a link to "Arwin's GT3 Replay Manager".

Scrolling over the file should reveal the date that it was created, that should help you narrow it down considerably.
