The final race is here (well where else could it be?)!

Now it's voting time. Which track would you like this race to be on?

Midfield Raceway (300 laps)

or

Tokyo R246 (225 laps)

Although Tokyo has less laps it is a longer track than Midfield which means it will take more time to complete...

Argghh, I really hope for Tokyo because I bought a car that I'm planing on entering into this. Boy does it go(considerring it has next to no horsepower)! But it is VERY unforgiving if you touch the ripple strip. I've tuned alot of that harshness out of it but it's still TOO twitcy, I'll have to tune it more tonight.

BTW I was practising around midfield, but I think it will be better at Tokyo.
 
I guess I will have to get off my ass and do the R11 race then

O.K. It's 50/50 now. I haven't practised at Tokyo but my settup is close to perfect at Midfield so at the moment I don't care which way this goes.

Yes Bollokcs, you WILL have to get R11 done, but I will have to get Complex String done. Jeez:grumpy:

WHat secret? I will probaly do it, if its at midfield, and I will probaly do it in a VX220.

Its not a road car under 600HP though.

VX220 is my car...damn you jack!

I did a couple of laps this morning and assuming my maths is reasonably correct this should take around 5 hours 30 minutes.

Best lap: 1'09.287 - Midfield
 
Really, five hours?

The ideal minimum amount of time is six and a half hours. :/
 
If it ends up being Midfield, I might give this a whirl.

I'll be using the RUF RGT. Just because I want to, not because it is fast or slow.

I had a thought that most of you proably wouldn't like but I think it would be cool. Make a Super ndurance series and have a race every month. I think it would be good because most people get a free weekend at least once a month so it would be a good timespan. Ideas?

I'll give this poll two more days (Tuesday) then i'll make the decision on which track is going to be used. I will then create the new topic asking about the 'secrets'. :)
 
I think the poll is pretty much decided, anyone who was going to vote (and people that weren't) have voted, just put up the secret thread so we can get discussing!
 
Bought some parts to make 598hp and did a basic setting and ran 1:07.0 at Midfield on the 3rd lap in the RGT. I'm sure I could run that pace (give or take .5) for the entire 300 laps.
 
huh, thought I'd get beaten by more than that with a 600hp car, yay!
 
Probaly doesn't handle as well as the XV220.
 
What's an XV220?

A VX220 is the other verison of the Opel Speedster, same car, same everthing. Just a different look to it.
