GT4 is gonna have some competition when it comes out. NFS underground,TXR01 and mid 2004 Midnight Club 3 I'm sure theres gonna be many other racing games being made too but these 3 are gonna be right behind GT4..Polyphony better make GT4 perfect if they wanna make profit...course GT3 is still the best Racing game ever made 2 years after its making..awsome:lol:
 
you really think those games will be comp for GT4?... I dont even think they will be comp for GT3 :lol:
 
Imo there is no racing game behind GT.. some mabye argue and say "GP Legends".. The pack is and will be positioned off the podium.
 
They will compeat with each other, GT4 is in a league of its own, But i think TXR01 will win out of those others.
 
Of course they want touch GT4...but if we combine the sells of all the other games together it might scratch the surface of the sales generated by the Champion franchise of Gran Turismo games.

gt4 will not be the be all and end all in racing.
the rally side of it will not come close to wrc3 or it's competition.
yes it will be great with hundreds of cars and tracks and the AI will also be improved (tho how much has yet to be seen).
I personally cant wait for gt4, but when it comes to more specialised racing (eg F1 or rally) i will go elsewhere. :)
 
True but i think that most people play because of the challenge it posses overall no matter how good the rally is. In Gt3 i had the escudo and all i had to do was go full throttle and bounce off walls to win :D
 
No its not but it gets the job done i do wish they would make the rally better,but you know.... Another rumor i ehard those is they did try to improve on there rally
 
well yeah they did, i've seen the screenies. but the damage moddels and car physics and well.... it wont be as good as a specialist game.
i hope they get the physics right, the cars seem so slow in gt3
 
Apparantly the AI in GT4 will be only .5 of a second down on a human driver, where as in 3 its closer to 2 seconds or even more
GT2 was good in that respect, racing was close and the AI where not (overly) a bunch of sheep
 
I'll be happy so long as they make the AI better than it was in 3. I'm surprised no one has said anything about R: Racing Evolution being possible competition for GT4.

i don't really think it'd be much of a competitor to GT4... since the graphics aren't exactly nice :p GT4 is by far leading most of the games in graphics and realism. However, that's just my thought :D
 
the overall game of Gran Turismo just can't really be beat when it comes to racing maybe if you add some guns crooked cops or sumthing it woulld be better but we dont need that

The graphics are pretty good. Pretty close to GT's quality. Yeah we all know that GT is the best in graphics and realism but I think the RE might come close. Sure it wont beat it(nothing can) but it'll come close.
