why the hell isnt there a drag mode intended for gt4? i mean wouldnt it be awsome if you could drag down a qtr mile in a funny car or pro stock car or the top fuellers or even the featured cars in gt4? And if they did i dont want to see a normal take off , iwant to see the car actually jump and take off! Who agrees? 4
 
I see where your coming from, this has been heavly discused for a long time. As much as I love IHRA, NHRA,.... and so forth. This is a game for LeMans style racing fans, thus the name Gran Turismo. So instead of *****ing about how we all wish Gran Turismo had a Drag racing mode, I have learned it is better to hope that Polyphony will make a game strickly about drag racing.
 
Well I for one wish they do add Drag racing in GT4, and if someone doesnt like the idea then if its in just dont play it.. plain and simple..
 
If me and my mates want a drag race, we just line up on a really long straight. Not the proper thing, but it is something.
I disagree with making cars just for drag racing, that seems dumb. There are drag oriented cars in the GT series, but they can navigate tracks (with alot of diffuculty)
 
yep I agree that adding cars just for drag racing will be stupid. but they already give you a 1/4 and 1km run why not just add a little bit to that.

We can`t rely on other titles to do that since I haven`t seen another game as good as GT the drag racing in nfs u is good but it lacks everything that GT has
 
I dont really see the excitement in driving a car for a quarter mile, finishing in 10-15 seconds and then doing it again.

but if thats what floats your boat :rolleyes:

Theres no real info on any modes of the game, Maybe you should research before gettiing upset. I see you are a new guy, its good to catch up on your info before going wild with repeat threads.
 
I'd rather they spent more time on other things such as improving AI or adding more tracks/cars to the game than bother with a drag mode...
