this is my very first music video...I use the DFP with 900 degree steering

if the file is too large and takes about forever to download then please give me some tips on compressing :D

I would say that the video editting is above the usual level that is seen on these forums. Nice clear capture, but I think that a smoothing effect for the entire production would have improved the look of it - it looked a little grainy, I noticed.
Nice transitions from car to car. However, I found the amount of camera changes that you introduced mid-drift to be quit disruptive and I had a hard time determining your technique in many cases. It may just be me, but I got the impression that on a few shots you were trying to pull attention away from the drift and more to the visual presentation - to me this is backwards. The visual presentation should emphasize and enhance the drifts.

The drifts that I could watch in entirety looked quite smooth, with judicious use of countersteering. Good. But, some of the drifts felt like they got chopped off before their time was actually up. I'm guilty of this also. ;)

The choice of lines was for the most part well done, but there were a few more wall-taps than I would normally expect to see in a compilation video such as this.

on the whole, I find this was well put together, though I was a little put off by the amount of camera transitions. The couple of wall taps took away from the whole feeling of you being in complete control of the car, but there were many good smooth looking drifts to be seen. Just work on extending the drifts as long as possible.

the places that you might have thought i hit the wall was only once(with rx7).... i made sure that i didnt have any wall taps(hardly)

i dont mean to nitpick, really. I did think that this was an above average video

but I think I notice a really small nick at 1:10 in the lexus (quite minor),
a bang with the M-Coupe at 1:40 after it gets launched (btw, I love this little car, I used it in the intro to my vid, same colour and everything 👍 )
and then the one with the rx-7

there were a few more close encounters which initially i thought were nose rubs after the first viewing (one in the sileighty, and the last drift with the rx7) - but closer inspection has proven me incorrect

still a very good vid :sly:

It’s about familiarization. Since Trail Mountain is one of those original courses from the GT series. It’s good to test out your cars and skills on tracks that you’re most familiar with. Once you feel that you have mastered that certain course, move on to the next one. For me Trial Mountain will never get boring.

That’s what I think. :)

It is my FIRST drift vid and i havent had time to practice on Tsukuba Hey, why don't you try making a video in Tsukuba? 💡

you really extend those drifts with the RX-7. is that just the general nature of the car? if so.. damn i've got to try one of those..

i had alot of other cars i had made replays for(such as NSX-R concept) ...just couldnt fit it into one song


i just got my capture card today too 👍 did it all in about 1-2 hours

(didnt go to school to get the package)
 
Wow. Last time I listened to ATB - Don't Stop was 4 years ago o_O.

The video was nice. I did find the sudden view changes a bit annoying though.

My opinion = TingBoy's.

Specifically, I was gonna tell you to PM me the next time you're making a video, I've got some AWESOME songs for vids, but no VCC to do them myself. I'm an electronica FREAK, so lemme know next time and I'll hook you up with some sick hard trance or goa :sly:

im a bit of a trance freak myself but the next drift works vid that im making is probably gonna have some rap...but i would like to know what songs you got that i dont :D

and in response to all the people talking about the frame changes:they do get annoying :mad:

I've got an awsome music too, to fit with drifting, hope you don't have that particular song for like 2 months, I'll have the vid. by then:)
