This series looks very interesting. Cars remind me of the GARRA GS class. Two notable exceptions of course being the Aston and Lotus. Anywho, good to see more entry level racing developing in Europe. Hopefully that can act as a starting line for the careers of future GT stars and not just Dr. Rich Guy.

OH! WAIT! You're talking about the Sports car series...makes sense now.

I wonder if Super Taikyu or Speed GT-style vehicles are eligible

I'd imagine certain Taikyu cars could be homologated for competition. The specs are pretty similar to GARRA GS specs, as Jonerz mentioned, so I wouldn't be surprised. I think SPEED GT cars are probably closer to GT3 specifications than GT4.
