GT4 ilink support?

If I i-link two ps2 systems will GT4 support more than 2 players?
I would like to be able to have split screen on both systems for a total of up to 4 players with the ilink of only two ps2s.

For some reason my thread is not showing up.

I had asked if anyone knew if GT4 would support up to 4 players with only two ps2s ilinked?
This means that each system would allow two racers split screen for a total of 4 players when ilinked?

Damn, GTP is SO messed up today.. this thread says it does not have any replies. Yeah, I'm pretty sure iLink will be supported because if GT3 has it, why wont GT4?

I think that PD will keep the same system of i-link as in GT3, and try to concentrate more on the online method of GT gaming.

I doubt it, because the newer PS2's don't have iLink. Maybe it's only in Japan, but I don't think PD would support something that isn't there.
