i dont care how long they take so long as they add everything everyone's suggested hahahaha

(i want tyremarks on the road left after dorfits)

well, i think they have taken enought time now. And i bet that they have already added allot more than they orignally planned. So i suggest they release it as soon as possible and keep every new idea in mind for GT5 or something like that.................
I wouldn't really appericate it if it's going to take 6 months extra. The original releasedate was set on september '03 and i don't want it to become september '04 or even later.

I don't think there has been a set date given by PD has there? I know they said it would be out by christmas 03 but they never gave a date, and they haven't given one since, also remeber GT3 was delayed by around a year. It's not suprising to see a good game get delayed, it happens to most of them.

Sorry to break your hearts, but...

Gran Turismo 4 on for fall release

Sony nails down a season for Polyphony's new driving game.

A few more tidbits of information on Sony's upcoming racer, Gran Turismo 4, came out at a Sony press event held today. Among the revelations is an official release time frame for the game. GT4 is now officially on for a fall release in North America, which is a bit later than the June/July time frame previously guessed at by online retailers.

Information on online modes and other details weren't released, but it was once again confirmed that the game will be playable by six players and will also have some sort of "community" built around the racing so that players can chat and discuss the game or other automotive news. Additionally, the game will have support for the 40GB hard drive that Sony is shipping next month, though details on what enhancements hard drive owners will receive aren't available at this time.

We'll have more on Gran Turismo 4 as more details surface.

Quote from the article:

Unfortunately, licensing issues have left holes; Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Porsche are missing, though included in competing games.

The Ferrari's and Porsche's ok, but I thought the Lambo's were in?????? Somebody help me out here....

Thats not official. KY has only said Ferrari and Porsche won't be in.

It was on the disk but you could only get it with a Gameshark or similar device.

^ not really... the Diablo was licensed for Japan for sure and other parts of Asia (i believe). The other regions had the car locked due to other constraints... i believe it was because the JTGC team licensed the car for Japan and not lambo... which was needed elsewhere.
