GT4 Killed my PSTwo in 2 weeks !!!

My 4 month old slim PS2 died. Is on its way back via retailer to Sony for repair or replacement.
My son was playing GTA San Andreas when it stopped. There is no red LED showing when it has power.

Means I have to play GT2 on the PS1 for the next 3-4 weeks.

wow, the slims seem to have crap reliablility. my brickshaped PS2 is still going after close to 3 years, and has been cleaned once. works perfectly :)
 
recently bought a PS2 from the trading post to get into GT4... picked it up pretty cheap! it's had week long stints of not being turned off and i've never even felt it blow warm air. cool.
