Gt4 Online

I was really waiting for Online Drifting/Racing, but when that article came out about how they took out online play killed it for me, but then I thought to myself...It wouldn't run at its 100%. Graphics might of been turned down, sound, how a car looks idle, moving, sideways etc. Good, that they made a second decision about online racing because IMHO online racing would of been BUGGY as hell or somewhat laggy. All I have to do now is wait until December...
 
I can not wait for some online drifting. I wish the LM RX-7 was still in the game (thing looks sexy in green and it drifts so easy even with stock HP), but it looks like I will just have to settle for LM RX-8 ^_^.

What relly interests me when considering the chance to drift against other people in real time, would be "how do you judge?".

I can see a gentlemens agreement between two people, but I don't think there'd be too many of those, and they'd most all likely degenerate into a considerable argument. However, if there was a computer controlled judging display and you were able to run two cars at a time, you'd have a much better and more intense, concentrated experience in a drift competition.

It'll be interesting to see how that comes to fruition.

First off sorry for the double post. But I think the only way that would happen is with well known names, like "greats" of the game. Like with elders here on GTPlanet. But other than that I do not think there would be to many gentleman agreements.
 
wait.. so online verison of GT4 would come out separatly?
i hope it would... seriously, online drift battle would be uber cool.
LAG would be the only problem... sigh, i can't imagine. i can't even live with CS lagging.
 
I'm thinking it might be an add-on for the GT4, and hope that it'll be cheaper, since its only an online version of GT4....maybe the online version of GT4 will load off of your GT4 cd.
