GT4 PAL Car List - UPDATED 09/07/2005

Well I spend whole afternoon on writing this down, perhaps somone will find it usefull (apart from me):

It's the list of all cars I have in Arcade Mode in GT4 PAL (720 cars). The list is not complete YET, so I'm looking for anyone, who could take a look at it, and compare with his available cars in order for the community to have a complete list. The list is sorted as cars are available in Arcade mode, so it's not hard to take a look.

Can anyone help? Please.

UPDATE 1:

The list is updated and uploaded. There is 728 cars listed in arcade mode plus Auto Union, which is not available in arcade. So 729 cars in total.

Also in th end there is a list of all cars, that are initially available in Arcade Mode, so you can see, which cars you don't need to buy.

UPDATE 2:

Well there were some minor repairs (including Ford GT '05 with and without stripes) and a typo. The list seems to be complete now (except for possible typing errors). Have fun with it :).

theGTfreak: Yes, you have prize car list. Mine is (will be hopefully some day) with all cars in Arcade Mode. The main reason for it is to find the magic number, at which you can say: I have all cars available in PAL.
 
Is there anyone that has the PAL arcade cars listed that are available from scratch only?

I've looked for this, in all threads and stickied posts (but I am a man, and my wife tells me "men look for things with their eyes closed").

The reason is obvious: you do not want to buy used cars that are already there!?

there is a sample of that somewhere (I've seen it and used it a bit, but wasn't tottaly correct). If you can wait, I can go and start a new game and mark cars available from scratch ... I'll try do that tomorrow (will try to find time during kitchen renovation :D).
 
Well, approximatelly 1 hour has passed and I took the time to write down all cars that are initially available in GT4 PAL Arcade Mode. The list is in file in 1st post above (from page 17 on). Have phun :)
 
Finally a list not based on japan or GT4P release! 👍

You forgot to say that
Mazda 787B (Black) 1991
Nissan R92CP (Black) 1992
Nissan R390 GT1 Race Car (Black) 1998
Toyota GT-One TS020 (Race car - Black) 1999
are only available in GT mode

Correct this:
Honda N360 1967 (not N350)

It seems you missed:
Honda S800 1966 (the road car)
Mazda 110S (L10B) 1968 (there are both: L10a and L10b)
Nissan Skyline 1500 Deluxe 1963
Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R 1973
They are rare used cars. I don't think you could miss cars available more than 10 weeks over 100.
Check my db to find them ;)

I'm pretty sure that the most of the cars become available in arcade mode only if bought as used in GT mode.
There are exceptions, as for Subaru 360, the Beetle....
 
Duck: Thank you very much for contribution. Yes, well I didn't go into details of used cars (the black beauties), because that is covered very well by Famine's list and your list. I saw some speculatin that there is even one or two more special black cars available (rx7, S2000).

As for corrections: N350 is a clear typo - thank you for noticing.

Road car honda S800 - will take a look (I have your list allready) and add it as soon as possible. Same goes for Skyline 1500 Deluxe '63 and Skyline 2000 GT-R '73. Mazda 110S (L10B) '68 is on the list ;).

as for k2racer's reply: In my list on the bottom is list of initially available cars. So you can just compare it with list of all cars and buy those, that are not on bottom list. Cars that are initially not available in Arcade mode become available as soon you get them in GT mode (no matter if they're used, new, rewarded as prize or traded) with the exception of Auto Union.

Duck: Wanna talk about luck? :D I loaded my current GT4 game, checked used car lot and both skyline's were there. Unfortunately that means I'm just few weeks over the availability of Honda S800, but I will take care of that soon by using 2nd memory card.

So ... list is updated with skylines, fixed the typo and noted missing honda S800. Thanks again :).
 
Anyone know how many cars we should have in Arcade mode after everything in GT Mode is unlocked? The Arcade mode car number was 275 or so when starting the game,I'm now up to 395.
 
Check my list:

For PAL starting numbers are: 240 by manufacturer and 87 by history (so 240 cars are available)

And close to end I have 722 by manufacturer and 368 by history (alltogether that makes 723 cars, because one is in history menu but not in manufacturer menu (Sileighty '98). There is also one car, that is in GT mode but not in Arcade mode (Auto Union V16 Type C Streamlinie '37). Plus there is (at least) one car missing in my list (Honda S800 '66) so that would make arcade numbers 723 by manufacturer / 369 by history plus Auto Union in GT mode.

725 different cars in all GT4 PAL discovered so far ...

It looks like you are missing the Lexus SC430 '01 :)

Update: the list is now updated with missing Lexus SC430.
 
I just picked up a black Honda S800 last night on day 630 or so. I'm TRYING to save up for the quad-black LM's, but if I dont stay out of the used car rooms I'll be broke in no time.

With over 720 cars in the game it is easy to overlook some of them :)
Here are 2 cars that I can't find in your list:

Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) '99 (In my game it can be found between the Skyline GT-R Vspec '99 and the Skyline GT-R Special Color Midnight Purple II (R34) '99 in arcade mode)

Mazda RX-7 Type RZ (FD) '00 (I can only find RX-7 Type RS (FD) '00 in your list)

I'll check tonight to see what day it was. BTW I got my four black ones last night :crazy: They are pretty sweet but man do they put a dent in the pocket book.
 
well I didn't see it there, round 630 day ... I am in cycle 97 on my primary card, my secondary is now progressing, to get two missing cars - rx7 and honda s800, got the GTR '99

EDIT: well, well ... another revelation. Cars that you get as a trade and are not unlocked in Arcade mode don't unlock themselves. I just spend few hours on my secondary card game and just skipped through days 1400 to 1730+ to buy missing cars - skyline GTR, RX7 RZ and S800 and after that traded them to primary game and they still don't appear in Arcade game (I even tried changing oil and driving them in a race but still they don't appear ...

Damn, well I guess I'll just spend few days in GT4 to buy skyline GTR and RX7 (since I am arround 2090 days in game), but the S800 will have to wait fo a while ...
 
Well, the list ist just updated ... final number so far is 728 (still no Honda S800 in list). I have it from trade but it doesn't show on arcade list. Will try to get to that in a day or two (currently on cycle 16).

Here is an other car for the list: Mitsubitshi 3000GT MR (J) '98
(I can only find 3000GT MR (J) '95 on the list)
 
Will check that out later ... still driving to get to week 48 or 50, when S800 becomes available. So I'll try to pick this mitsu up in the process. Currently at week 30 or so :)

OK, update in 1st post. The list is now up to 729 cars (727 by manufacturer, 371 by Era). Finnaly got that S800 (in very cool loking yellow color :D).

Big thank you goes to Duck and NikZer for helping completing list so far!

I don't think there is any more cars, but will stay on lookout :)
