yeah you're right about the spread out votes, but I think the competition would be more fierce with fewer entries to vote on. there would be less single votes scattered about, and if there was just a top 20 EVERYBODY would get more than just 1 or 2.

I Strongly Agree! It would eliminate people voting for their own picture, even though it doesnt deserve a vote. And it would be easier to vote because you don't have to scroll through 50+ pictures and not be able to make up your mind! I'd go with the 20-30 pic idea that dori-san thought of.👍
I make it a point to vote for the best pic that's not mine. Takes the pressure off, for me at least. Thanks again to whoever voted for me.
BTW, I like the idea of a lot of entries, because I don't think it's about winning as much as bringing out the best pics and ideas that we can. I personally like the variety.
With a little more exposure, this competition will be huge.

Heh, congrats on the win! Nice pic. Kudos for including your winning pic in your acceptance speech, in case someone doesn't want to scroll through counting votes (even though you won by a landslide, that isn't always going to be the case with the winner).
