GT4 Prologue PAL official release date!

My dearest PAL friends, GT4 Prologue will hit the shelves of EU PAL territory on 26th May, with suggested retail price of 39,95 euro.

Details of the release (content and so) still have to be confirmed.

This has been stated in official SCEE release list for this part of the year.

Still no word about GT Pro Wheel, but I guess we can expect some nifty bundles as well.

I'm kind of hoping that they will put all those muscle cars back in, the ones that were in the old E3 demo version.

EB has instore ads about it, and my local usually realiable game store has it listed now aswell for may 28th
 
I havn't seen it advertised, I probaly will when i go there tomorrow.

they are asking full price for an oversize demo!? rediculous.
I'm still wondering if its worth getting.
 
It has a bonus DVD with the making of Gran Turimso if thats any bonus to you?
 
PS2 games in aus are usally about $80-90 or more, but prologue costs about $50
 
To Stupid that making of dvd. GT4 is not even finished yet. Bah! Let them concentrate on finishing GT4 rather than milking that cow again.

Running it through a currency converter makes that around £26.50, bit overpriced really. GTC was a more 'complete' product with 2 player mode & some really interesting cars. True GT : P has some nice new circuits, but they'll be in the final game anyway.

KY's message on DVD "Haha! you've been ripped off! oh btw GT4 ain't gonna come out till the PS3 hahahahahhaahahahaaaaaa......" ;)
 
I'd seriousley consider getting it for 20 quid. I would get it for 15 pound. But not for anymore.
Anyone feeling like rading the PD headquarters? I have a TA base near by and my neighbour used to be in the RAF. I also have a people carrier that we could make into an APC. Anyone?...

Last year they had a big long presentation on E3 with lots of video stuff. This year they will have a lot more, and it will contain a lot of real new stuff on GT4. I can't wait to see it and I'm expecting we will find most of this material on this DVD. So I for one don't mind. ;)
 
No doubt someone will upload it all to the internet and share it to those poor souls who miss out.

I assume you mean Race Driver 2 there, well I've gotta say it sucks when the Japanese release a game like GT they get it first (Fair enough)... but when a British Developer (Codemasters) release RD2 other countries get it first argghhh :lol: Bit like how Jags were cheaper to buy in rest of Europe than in UK (Where the damn things come from).

Think one of the devs themselves posted in the RD forums that 'Us british are used to waiting'

/Grabs a pitchfork & a keg of gunpowder. :D
 
this is great news!!! i cant wait for GT:P to hit europe and its finally going to happen, great news, though i must admit, i kinda feel bad for the americans, i mean they didn't get the last release....

It's great to hear that gt4 going to be realesed in Europe.But I'm not going to buy gt4 : p . I'm just waiting for GT4.
 
Sounds exiting. I'll consider buying it. But only if the price comes further down.

Comes out here on 23rd April, which is a bit stupid when its developed here.

Heh watched V8 supercars which was on TV other night, racing in the wet which is always fun especially when your in a RWD tuned V8 :D
 
I just checked out the playstation UK website and they dont mention GT4P at all but they claim GT4 proper will be released in the 2nd quarter ie before July:eek: :eek: :confused: .

So who knows.
 
They will mean GT4P, Sony has already stated GT4 won't be here until towards the end of the year.
 
Yep, we americans continue to get the shaft! No GTC and now no GT4P! What the &$#@!!!! KY must hate us real bad......
 
I'm sure that if I buy it, I will already know too much things of GT4...

I prefer wait for the final game if it's ever released.

Just bought Concept last week end and already finished it so no real pleasure playing half a game. Even more if you loose pleasure playing the real game afterwards.
