I just checked with EB and for you Australian peeps,

It shall arrive on the 28th of May and be priced at $59.95 AUD:)

Bit steep I reckon...:( I probably wont buy it

Now why can't they do a deal where if you buy GT4:P you get £10 off the full version. That would make much more sense to everyone concerned...
 
A lot of the sites that have GT4P for pre-order in the UK have it released on 14th May, some on 28th. So anytime from the 14th onwards then. ;) :)

But most importantly, they have it priced at £19.99. Some sites have it as cheap as £16.99, if you pre-order.

I think £19.99 is reasonable, gives you a taste during the 6+ months we'll have to wait for the full game.

I think I'll do the same. It doesn't make sense, to me, to buy GT4p at full price, then about four months later buy GT4. I think Sony/PD should have planned to release GT4p worldwide. And they should have included some tracks and cars from the GTC game for us Americans.

Full price? It costs around $50 which is half-price of a full game.
 
I don't know what you are talking about $50 dollars being half price, because the most expensive games out in stores now are about $49.95.:odd:

I was converting to GBP then to $US in my head. So sue me :D

So US$37 is half price for Australian games? That's... £24 - I've never bought a full price game for more than £32 in the UK...

What do you get with GT4P: A couple of cars a couple of tracks with no chance to modify right? The DVD better be like an hour long or I'll just wait for GT4
 
If you're getting it for the DVD, wait afew days someone will post it on the internet. Like the GT4P ending movie around Capri + Hong Kong.

I'm getting it, can't wait to shell out some money!
 
Most PS2 games cost around 80 -100 dollars here in Australia and my local games store have GT4P for $52 so that's a decent price considering. Anyway if its got the GT logo on it then I'll buy it, I am just a crazy GT freak as my username says.

Hmmm. Let's see.

GT4 Prologue vs 2 Best Motoring DVDs

GT4P has more tracks (5 real tracks, plus several extra in the lesson modes)

GT4P has more cars (63 to be precise)

You can see most of the cars on Best Motoring on Tsukuba in GT4 Prologue as well, but with the difference that you can drive them yourself ...

GT4P has 41 lessons and 5 coffee breaks (ghymkhana)

blah blah...how come I havent seen anything here in sweden?( and dont ask me if I wanna borrow your crowbar...I already know that one:rolleyes: )..and this with the dvd...sounds cool man:cool: ..I could really buy it in fullprice for that! ( got bling bling!:sly: )
