Any tyre combination allowed
Strong Tire Wear
Rev Limiter penalty system (same as rallies/missions)
Driving aids Optional
Points for race: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 (pre 2010 F1 scoring)
Try to keep at least 2 wheels on Tarmac/Rumble strips

It appears Opel/Vauxhall enjoyed the trialling mountain, as the podium included only Astra Touring cars!

I'm quite happy with the result, not really that far away from getting another places, perhaps running on worn out tyres really hurt my time.

Great event. I put in several practice laps sessions last week and it really helped my race.

wow 34 seconds behind. I'm not doing very well at this. I think the main problem is that the front tyres do not last on this Lister.

From my experience, the Lister has never been a good lad with the tyres. Perhaps that is also why the reason throughout my whole race the Lister is the most frequent car to visit the pit...

WOW! CONGRATS All & especially to E RaK, fogbound! Not at all the finish for me that I expected. Much as I like the venue, I never do well here. The top 4 finishers within six seconds after 21 minutes of racing is Fantastic!

@ DKLion3s: The Opal Calibra is AWD (& kind of a Dog), this one is FR.

@ apemax: Ask grantuurismite if you can change rides. The Lister is well know for demolishing front tyres.

Finally within a second per lap of the winner, I'll happily take that.

I used AI -10 but with R5 tyres, (I think that worked pretty well, I was in 1st by T3, and the AI didn't get in my way much because they were pitting every 2-3 laps, and even then they don't hold you up much as they carry decent speed through the corners)

Me, I did 6 laps on R3's then 9 on R2's

@ InvincibleM5, (perhaps running on worn out tyres really hurt my time) it did, i waved when i went past on the last lap .

The Astra's are AWD? That kinda makes their speed even more impressive, i might have to try one some day.
Edit: (as per above) FR makes way more sense as 4wd's do tend to be inferior when tyre wear is an issue.

ahhhh yes, redemption! Congrats to all, as usual and thank you everyone! The Astra (FR, by they way) truly shines at Trial Mountain. Anyone who is running another car should do a few test laps at this track with the Astra, it just (to me anyway) feels dialed there.

No problem for the hold up, DK. I've had my fair share of timing issues as some of you may know. Good luck in the next round, the championship chase is really heating up!

Yeah i probably will ask. I don't like giving up on cars but this is just ridiculous.
