Special Stage Route 5- 16 laps (Forwards)

Race Rules
NO B-Spec!
Arcade mode
Weight penalties, results-based
No Power changes
Any tyre combination allowed
Strong Tire Wear
Rev Limiter penalty system (same as rallies/missions)
Driving aids Optional
Points for race: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 (pre 2010 F1 scoring)
Try to keep at least 2 wheels on Tarmac/Rumble strips


Results Submission

Submit Via Private Message including:
User Name
Class
Car
Number
Weight (total, and total penalty %)
Total Time
A photo of the screen displaying the total time would be good too.

Submissions due by 10pm Monday 28th March, Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time
To ensure correct timing, try to submit before Sunday the 27th

10pm Monday here is 2pm Monday in Paris, 6am Monday in New York, 3am Monday in Los Angeles

Champoinship Update: I will not be extending the series, as I am falling out of sync with GT4 (Minecraft has stolen me again), and my heart is just not in the racing. I will see out the series, and continue to enjoy running it, but I don't want to run it if I'm not competing.

I have the whole day off school on Friday, so I'll be putting in a whole bunch of runs on the Night Highway.
 
Did a couple of runs last night...This course is insanely hard on tires (Almost as bad as Apricot Hill), so much so that a one-stop race on anything other than R1'2/2's is borderline impossible.
 
Got in a couple of runs in this morning. I've done well at this track before so fingers crossed. I can do a one stop race on R1's without to much tyre wear.
 
I have milked all the time I could out of this run, don't think I'm capable of getting it down anymore without hitting walls & AI's. Time submitted. Good luck to All!!!

This is one of my favourite tracks, and the Takata ran pretty solid this round.

Sorry guys, after a hard day's worth of karting GT4 was simply not the first thing on my mind! Did a quick one in done with basic strategy and mistakes a-plenty thanks to a certain Peugot rally car that had bricks for rear wheels... anyway, good luck as usual!
 
Did anyone notice how much the AI doesn't like this course. I had to try different difficulty settings, 'cause the AI wouldn't get around the corners fast of smart enough.
Also, I thought I did pretty well, for grinding this for 3 days straight.
 
I'm sorry guys, I have to skip this week's round because I'm busy with my school project. Good Luck to all running this week and hopefully I'll be fit for next round :p
 
I didn't put much time into this week (one test run for tyre strategy, then completed the race 2nd time, as was watching the F1 all weekend) but i didn't have the trouble with tyres everyone else is mentioning, i managed to eek out 7 laps from my R3's, then do the remaining 9 laps with R2's, maybe the NSX is hard on tyres for this track?

@ n1nj4ofshr3d, i often put the AI on -10 but give them R5 tyres, that way they don't hold me back in the corners, and i can pass them easily on the straights. (but i did notice they don't like that final chicane much)
 
On 0, the AI had a Delta S4, and when I looked at the replay, it spun out everywhere. Maybe, the R5's for the AI wasn't such a good idea.
 
Yeah it can become comical if the AI (when fitted with R5's) attempt to do 3 laps when they should have pitted after 2, for me the Lancia Stratos at Trial Mountain springs to mind.
 
Ok. My schedule for the next week is chock full. I'm postponing Suzuka for two weeks (ie, April 12th). I'll try to put the results up in the next 24 hours.

all my assignments are due in the week before the 12th, so I won't have time to set up another round until my mid-semester break.
