heres my favorite shot yet....crossing the bridge at Midfield......

WHAAAAT??? I never realized it was that high up in the air! I'm gonna have to stop and check that out now. Nice pic too, shows some good depth. 👍

the what !!!! lol **goes to look for the topless bird** never knew about this carnt you post a pic ?? if not could you giv me directions lol must see this !

hehe, never noticed that at 'piscene' at monaco....lol, too buisy trying not to rub the wheels on the wall (in the F1).......im guessing you have all noticed the farm at midfield? its nestle behind a couple trees near turn #2 and 3.......

The Nurb. I'm sure this is a shot everyone has taken though hehe....

I may hate to drive on Chamonix, but it sure is a great looking track...

El Capitan, great mountain scenery :D

i wish when people refere to the Nürburgring in short hand they would just use the 'ring........sorry, im just a picky Nürburgring fanatic....lol

(why didnt they include the Sudschlief in a second version of the 'ring? or the road by-passing the karusel? they can afford to do 5 versions of Fuji, 2 of LeMans but only one of the greatest race track ever?)

Can you imagine how much space they'd need to fit 2 or 3 versions of the Nordschleife on there? Besides, that little straight bypassing the Karussell - not only has it been disused for years, but with a 27deg incline, I wouldn't want to drive up it!! Equally the old Sudschleife has long since been disused. It's likely the Nurburgring has been licensed to other people (Codemasters I suspect).

And if you want to be really picky, call it Nordschleife. Because Nurburging could imply Nord, Sud, or the current racing circuit.

Still waiting for a photo of the Adenau bridge... com on pleeease!!

i know project gothem racing II for x-bax has it, but the one in GT4 is alot more realistic....

i know the karussell by-pass hasnt been used in ages, same with sudschleif (part of it is curently in the parking lot for the GP circuit) though there are some bits still left, abandoned no less......

its just such a great track with an incredible history and it dosent get all the credit it deserves in my openion.....there should be a game just about the 'ring.....with all variations of it over time (including the new GP circuit).....

a side note:
i see you are on good old oxford england :) been there a couple time.....i too live in oxford, though, mine is in ohio (and is also home to a university)

👍 I have become really interested in reading about the history of the ring. Really quite fascinating.

The Sudschleife is interesting simply because it no longer exists and I found one website which had some videos of it and what thas happened to the untouched parts today.

Is that this bridge? Sorry it's not a very good picture, it's the only one I have:

Could be - if you check on a map, it should be by "Ex-Muhle" or something. At this rate ill be doing it myself - 1 week left to GT4!!

Here's a real grainy picture of the two girls by the pool in the Monte Carlo track, i beleive the one on the left is topless...............

The Ring was called The RIng long before we were around even by the F1 drivers and teams. And to think that we're driving hundreds of laps around this old track and the F1 race used to be only 14 laps.

Here's my small contribution.......

2SLW4U ::: dont you meen the girl on the right as you can actually see her ''nipples'' lol ???

How does that work then? To do it during a race you would have to sacrifice shifting gears to have one hand free to do 'other' things.
