Ahh you had to pick the one video that doesn't have GT4 Prologue music in it. To be honest I don't think anyone knows who it is. I can only take a wild stab at Daiki Kaisho, as he did the majority of the electronica style songs in GT3/C.

I'd love to have that song though it does go realy well with the video.

My brother loves that song. I could record from the video but I dont have anywhere to upload it.

[Edit] I made the mp3 I just need a place to upload it.

It could be by The Antidote, because they did the Prologue intro song (supposedly), and this is vaguely similar.

Are you sure? I just did some digging on The Antidote, and they appear to be a heavy metal band, death metal, that sort of thing.. compeltely different style than this song, which is more dance/techno. Or are there multiple bands called "The Antidote"? Do you have any information on them, a website, track listings, song demos, etc?

Maybe the Electronica music will probably be the best ever. I, myself, am a fan of electronica. And that theme from the Tokyo Game Show would be pretty cool to listen to while I'm tearing up the streets of New York or on a nighttime cruise in Hong Kong (although I'd like a twilight or night race at Tokyo R246). I think the best racing game series to implement this kind of music is the WipeOut series.

On the PS2, I've kind of been a fan of the electronica in Namco games. Only thing is that the only one I remember are the Boom Boom Satellites. Other than that, mostly original stuff by the Namco team. However, I'm interested in seeing what GT4 will offer to our ears. And I mean more than the noise of the cars.

This Song sounds so close to Dj Paul oakenfold, and his tracks like "ready steady go" , "Speed" etc do relate to racing .. but im sure if someone do a more research this can be found

This can so easily be answered by "Polyphony digital inc." coz they edited the trailer, but i cant find their contact at all. :(

Really? Because in the Prologue Soundtrack thread in the Prologue forum, we decided that the intro music was "Bullet" by The Antidote, and the TGS music has a similar style to that.

See, this is the only reason we need words in techno music :indiff:

Ya i think its The Antidote too .. coz whn i played "Bullet" i for a second thought it is the song in TGS trailer!! .. but it was different.

Any one knows Official site of The Antidote (not metal band, but techno one) ? or anyone knows how to contact Polyphony digital ?

Okay, so there's multiple bands called "The Antidote", then.. the one I found the most info on was a heavy/death-metal band. Does anyone know of a website for the correct band?

Ugh... The music in that reminded me of the crap in Extreme G for the game cube... they need to hire someone that is accually good at making music!

While I was digging around earlier, I did find another band that was simply called "Antidote" (without the "The"), and their music was much closer to the TGS music than the death-metal of "The Antidote".

Oh, correction, the link I gave above...I said it didn't have music like the TGS trailer stuff...I meant that I didn't find the actual TGS trailer music. The samples that were available there were of similar style to the trailer's music.

I don't know what variety GT4 will have, but I think electronica is my favorite type of music. I think in racing (it's even used in soccer games), it exudes youth, rhythm, momentum, and all that. Only thing is that, I don't think the entire game's music will be a New York City underground rave party or anything. If you ask me, there will still be some smooth, jazzy tunes in menus, then let 'er rip on the track.

I used creative wave studio. But you hafta change the settings so the computer records all the sounds it makes and not from a microphone. My older brother did that so I'm not sure how to but I'll find out.

Omnis

I'll do this as soon as I get how from school which should be about 1:30 here in NY.

[edit] Well it's gonna take awhile cause their upload servers are down but I should have it uploaded soon.

PhatFat : You ripped it from trailer right ? .. so its the same length we hear in the trailer right ? .. damn i want the full song :(

Ok

I got both albums of The antidote to check if the song is on it .. but it isn't

This is their official site --> http://www.theantidote.ws/home.php

Why not we all mail them ? .. im sure they did the song even though that song sounds technoish and they compose trance!

And even if the song isn't by them maybe they can put some light on this .. after all they are connected with gt4

I mailed them .. no reply yet .. but if we all mail maybe they'll reply :)

The song is pretty cool. Kind of reminds me of something I'd hear in a Ridge Racer or Tekken game. If you have the soundtrack to GT2, there is a song by the Boom Boom Satellites that SHOULD have been in the game but eventually didn't. And for those who played Ridge Racer V, there is a song by the Boom Boom Satellites. I kind of like this style Electronica, but Europe surely has some classic electronica music. We still have no idea about what legitimate music will be in GT4. So instead of talking about stuff like... well, I won't get into that.

I still want to maybe record that song on my computer. You know, play it through my stereo speakers, record it with my PC microphone, and then just save it. I'm not sharing, though.
