I really miss how the tires in the previous game went from blue to red showing the level of available grip. In this game it's really hard for me to tell how sticky the tires are on my car because the color just goes from blue to white and stays there. The pro for that part is that the tires as far as I know it never loose grip. The con for that is that if your car starts slipping you wont be able to gain control of it even if the race just started and the tires are really sticky until the car stops sliding and then the traction goes back to normal. I have not done any endurance races so I don't know if it is different in those races or not but so far I'm having a difficult time adjusting to this new feature.
On the plus side the steering on most of the cars has been changed to better and most of the cars sound and handle like they do in life.

If the tires stay white that means tire degradation is off. If it's on, you'll see black appearing from top to bottom on each tire over time.

How could i explain it.

The tyres will '''decrese'', and when it's empty, it'll have a red marker on it, though i'm not sure about the marker.

Tires blink red showing when you are stressing the tires. Their health bar will drop noticably when this happens. Otherwise if you do not stress the tires then they will degrade gradually. But the more you overdrive your tires the faster they will wear out and the sooner you will have to pit.

So far they only seem to go to white and stop there as I've said before.

They only start degrading in A Spec in the endurance races or B spec in the Extreme races.

The little rectangle inside the tire icons will get shorter (The top will move toward the bottom) as the tire degrades. Once it get's really low, the icon for the tire(s) will start flashing red I think.

Little example.

Lancia stratos '73 on sports soft can be driven for ~14 laps of Grand valley before you need to pit for new ones.

Unless you drive like a nutter powersliding everywhere, when they last about 1-2 laps!

Extreme, but good driving keeps the tyres out of the red zone, hence keep them fresh.
