GT4 vs LFS??

I won't have to files to re-install LFS though, I can't back anything up, not much other than Firefox works on my PC right now, my CD-R software doesn't work and I can't set up a network. I might just buy it again.

it's a server i used to go to often. then i got fed up and left for different servers. hell, DRIFTING servers had cleaner racing than these guys.

not to mention they don't even stick to the road and cut through the dirt which is complete bull because the RWD's ridiculous lack of grip makes keeping up impossible.

Uh? When was that? I think you either raced there when the team members were away, or you're talking of demo days when they removed the password and it was a banfest, because Core server has a good reputation, and we have some of the fastest drivers around regualrily driving on our server. (team Mercury , team 400, Team BR, Team GURU, Tweak, RMachuchaA and many others...) We're all aiming for clean and friendly races, and I never saw the type of behavior you describe with any of the regular racers. Mishaps can happen, but that's far from being the norm.

If you're talking of the first few days of S2, well, almost everywhere was hell since about half of the drivers were causing wrecks before T1 because they didn't knew the car well enough. Heck, we even asked everyone to start in 3rd with the F08 on the first day .

Boris doesn't understand sarcasm. Isn't it great? Laugh heartily as he unknowingly humiliates himself. Unless he is bluffing, in which case, im the one humiliating myself. But either way, we all get a good laugh.

I was a little fanboyish for GT4 when i said those things.. I didn't want to give LFS S2 a chance..
But now i see that i was totally WRONG!!
It just feels better to drive in LFS.. Somehow, when grabing those mili seconds, i really try hard to do that, but in GT4, everything is so... how can i say.. easy, i don't know where i can grab more seconds, car turning is so sensitive, i move my wheel "just a little bit" and car turns like crazy.. I mean, GT4 is a great game!! but it really is a game.. Driving Online with those great physics, adrenalin pumping.. i don't know.. all i know that i haven't played GT4 for two weeks...

I never played LFS, so I cannot say anything about it. What I can say is that I love GT4. It might not be perfect physics-wise, but it is thrilling, I enjoy everytime I play it. I am no mechanic or car engineer but I know ho to tune my car some. I like to see a great variety fo cars and courses, real courses. It does not have online playing, but we all hope it will make it for GT5.

Speaking of GT5, it may have all those imporvements LFS has, and many more. And the day is yet to come when a computer game runs better than a console one with only a $200 budget for hardware... while you people spend $1000+ on a brand new computer every Moore's law-cycle (or whenever the newst version of LFS or whatever needs a 4D video card and a Pentium XII 10Ghz with 4Terabyte RAM to play smoothly, we spent at most (including wheel, CDs, etc) $500 for the last two generations of GT.

I want a game to play at my leisure time. Leisure. Entertainment. If I want the most realistic s**t and physics simulator, I just get my car and go for a ride...
