Ok, as there isn't a GT4 forum yet, so i thought i would post it here.

Let's here everyones wishes for GT4. For example: Mine:

- Ferrari Manufacturers (Not Gonna Happen :()

- More BMW's

- Drift Competitions

I can't really think of any more at the moment, lets here yours!
 
But There is a Rumor & Speculation Forum, Thats out GT4 Forum For Now. :)
 
It would be nice if GT4 would have a manual Clutch included. The automatic clutch in GT3 is just no good.

Cars that i'd like to see in the game:
Toyota Starlet... one of the best FRs
The old RX7 (not FC... the one before that)
Datsun 240
Porsches
 
more volkswagens!!!
also it would be nice if we could buy used cars to!!!
also they should make the computer cars faster if you have alot of horse power so that you cant just kill them so more competition!!!
 
AE101 Trueno needs to be in GT4.

And I want visual customization, dammit! Custom spray, decals, spoilers, bodykits, etc.
 
They need drag racing, aero kits, car shows and more older domestic cars.

I know this isn't really good.:lol: But I wish they would change the sound of the tyres when they skid. In GT1 GT2 and GT3 it is still the same noise whatever way you slide or skid:p

In Game Informer Magazine, they stated that there will probably be used cars :D Go read the threa "GT4 Infro From Game Informer Magazine."

Things I would like:
Manual Clutch
Infiniti G35
Datsun 240
Nissan Sentra SER Spec V
Drag Racing
Real Convertables.Like the top is down when you race.
Cockpit view
Older (60-70's)Muscle Cars
Early 90's Mustang
Sponserships (So someone could sponser you and pay for your parts or maybe give you a salary on top of the race winnings)

my wishlist is pretty short. I'd like to see a bio added to each car in your garage. Something that at least shows the trophies won using a particular car. They could go as far to add best lap times at each track. The possibilities are endless. Put it as a page under the specs of the car, something that looks like:

you get the picture. I think this would be a GREAT addition!
 
To add to Tokin's detailed info, when you set a record, it should record all your mods as well:
Laguna Seca: 1:19.004 Ruf RGT, 1077hp, 1170kg (and more if you selected it in the menu)

Definetley more Italian cars. Better sound of tires gripping and loosing grip. A tuned car competition. Stock brake fade! 3 total stages of brakes (stock, sports, racing). More sports tires. More challenging races and AI. AI with attitude (agression, styles, etc).

BLACKIES!!!!!!!! I like to drive loose and I think it would be super cool to see it next lap.

i want more german cars like volkswagens, audis, porches and also drift competitions with online play would be really nice!!!
 
I want them to bring back the GOLF VR6, and add the JETTA VR6, eclipse GT, more muscle, and a paint shop

Datsuns and LOTS other old school cars!!! and used cars that stickers, dents, and show signs of where. it would also be cool if you could panit your car after you buy it.
 
i hope the AI cars won't bump into you like there cars is worth nothing. They indeed need to race cleaner and a little bit more realistic.
 
to add to the bit about the convertables with their roof down, how about interchangeable hairstyles/helmets and shirts/racesuits. Could you just imagine some guy flying around test course with and afro or long hair? And i think the idea of nitrous (or NOS, for those F&F lovers:lol: ) is pretty crap, since when did you go to a circuit race and some guy uses nitrous?:odd::rolleyes:
 
GT4 is going to have a pit crew so why not a full racing team? Charge maybe 2,000,000 credits for a great race team that can do faster pit stops and have a member who can set up your car to the proper settings for you for any particular race. :D

I dont understand why people want old muscle cars. They suck.

how do they suck? there some of best looking and sounding cars ever built. there very fast too and it would be really fun to race the old school cars aginst new school ones. besides way do you wanna just forget the roots of sport cars?
 
i think you guys are forgetting that this is Gran Turismo 4, not The Fast and the Furious-The Game:scared: :scared: :scared:

The roots of sports cars do not lie in muscle cars. Id hardly call a muscle car a sports car anyway, a sports car has to not just be fast but also handle nicely which most musle cars do not. The real roots of sports cars lie in europe where cars are designed to go fast in all directions not just in a straight line. Also, I hope their is less american cars in it too (excluding the Viper which is cool) mainly because they look ugly a sin, and handle like boats. I think american car designers must be on LSD when they design their cars because they are fugly. The only country that has made cars more ugly than the americans are the French, but then they always handled like a car, not a ship.
