Ran some more laps and frustrating ones at that with most of my errors occuring on lap 3  2 fast laps and 1 slow seemed to be my way for today :guilty:

anyway after a good 90 mins + today I have a reasonable clean save with these splits ..

21.166 / 42.047
21.200 / 41.917
21.153 / 41.860

Thats about me for now and will try and get another few laps in before the deadline! I am losing about .6 off my ideal time if I could get all 3 laps to match my hotlap ghost :grumpy:

Cheers for the mental torture Sjaakie ;) ... t'was fun 👍

Finally, this is the type of thing I will be looking forward to when I start playing again. Something more than single laps.👍

holl01, I would love to see your replay when you win this week.

Seeing as the splits of Mr Persistence are a bit off of holl01, I look forward to sometime in the future getting back into this game.

Go for it Mike.

I can't access it at the moment. ("Cannot Find Server")

Anyway three new splits for div3.

21.466 - 43.240
21.517 - 43.124
21.612 - 43.110

Can't seem to get three consecutive laps under 43.xxx.
I hit 21.231 & 42.688 but not in three 'clean laps'.
Could I do it again? Could I hell!
Although I did knock off nearly 1.5 secs total time last night. :)

this is captain slow reporting in:

22.530 - 46.226
22.761 - 45.631
22.123 - 44.712

spot the progress? :) elas, these are my final hours before the big hollies so not much uptime here :nervous: maybe this evening another go and then the screen turns all black for 3 weeks 👍

new time:
21.229 - 42.051
21.175 - 41.896 (my record lap time) 👍
21.155 - 42.137 (too nervous, too careful, lost a couple of tenths) :nervous:

Welcome in Div2 DJ. :)

Nice times from both you and Sjaak. 👍

My first session gave:

21.441 - 42.780
21.278 - 42.695
21.553 - 43.136

Great race and interesting concept, Sjaak. 👍

After a low tech week in the Norwegian mountains, it's great to be back on track. :D

Hmm.

21.436 :( / 42.488 :) / fair :indiff:
21.564 :( / 42.599 :) / fair :indiff:
21.501 :( / 43.079 :grumpy: / fair :indiff: (but T2>Lx consistency :) )

Can't get back to consistent 21.3xx at the front, but finally found the knack through the centre section.

I was very pleased with the continuous improvement from lap to lap in this run...
0'21.675/0'42.882
0'21.566/0'42.661
0'21.562/0'42.467

Another quick session:

21.403 - 42.505
21.456 - 42.389
21.311 - 42.404

A little faster and a lot more consistent. :D

A little faster and a lot more consistent. :D

Fast enough to shoot you from the bottom to the top of div2! 👍

I'm going for a 'long' session tonight. Hopefully shave a bit more off. :nervous:

I'd like to improve my time but I won't be able to play anymore during this week. :guilty: I'm going on holidays and I will not race next week either. If my replay is requested, I'll send it when I return. Submitting time...

I haven't seen Sphinx for a while now,I hope he is enjoying some sun elsewhere in Europe,:) so
Please, send the results from week 118 to Mr P and Sphinx.

Ron will be the back-up ,just incase, you never know 👍

Reminderrrrrrrrrrr :)

Hi Niels,nice times

When coming around the big right sweeper before straight and start line. Stay to the left and keep 2 left tires on the grass and 2 right tires on asphalt all the way down the straight. It does make you go faster and should not. Doing this on all three laps will net a better time.

As Mr P stated it is very silly and incorrect physics.

hmm.. but wouldn't that ruin your entry in to turn 1 after the S/F line and consequently the hairpin with lateral forces. i.e. out-in-out, instead of in-in-wayyy out :scared: and thus forcing you to the inside line of the hairpin as entry and then hello! sand pit :)

anyways, I hard time with a good consistency of results because i seem to be always in a different position to attack each turn on each lap.

0'22.013/0'44.259
0'21.776/0'43.625
0'21.928/0'43.542

this will do for now will come back with better results later.

I'm in with:

21.287-42.084
21.233-42.040
21.260-42.498

Completely bombed the tight left before T2 on lap 3. Very tough for me to maintain momentum there for some reason.

Last try:

21.300 - 42.473
21.384 - 42.595
21.476 - 42.495

and three final laptimes with 1 tenth difference.:)

Also something weird happend.
I have two saves with the same end time but done with a blue and a black colored car and a four day difference.

New splits:

21.444 - 42.792
21.580 - 42.954
21.407 - 42.877

I finally arrived back home @ 2:30AM and got up for some lapping sessions at the Valley this morning. But no splits yet. Trying to get a quick time and some consistency here is hard to come by for me.... Great car on one of the best tracks. 👍

Oeff guys,
This is a hard one to me, i practiced tonight for the first time but it isn't easy.
So far the splits are around T: 0.21.5 and T2:43.4
It's not fast enough but i have to find some time to practice.

Greetings Le Mans

20.995 42.131
21.163 42.269
21.184 42.444

1'03.342 2'06.844

Div 2

I hope to have more time tomorrow because I truly biffed the final turn on lap 3 :yuck: :dunce: :ouch:

Slight improvement for me, but it's not looking like I'll be able to catch Sjaak & Niels. Might have some time tomorrow morning, but then I'm off to Mid-Ohio for a couple days. :)
0'21.497/0'42.612
0'21.670/0'42.662
0'21.666/0'42.579
1'04.833/2'07.853

Slight improvement for me, but it's not looking like I'll be able to catch Sjaak & Niels.

Don't be too sure. :dopey: I'm apparently losing a lot in the finish and is a full second behind Sjaak at the finish line.

No way, three laps rewards consistency, and is closer to an actual race simulation than the one hot lap we usually do. It's a fantastic combo and I'm looking forward to running.

So far I've had a blast with all the races you've set up Sjaak, keep up the good work. 👍

I'm very new overhere just my third week but i have to say Sjaak you are making every week a beautiful race and with so many people you cannot please everyone.
So keep up the good work and thanks for doing this.

Le Mans
