Stewards Comments:

This week is about applying some of what you learnt from last week. It’s a different car, track and tyres but hopefully the pain you had to endure to tame the Opel will help you overcome this one. 👍👍

My advice to anyone who is going to run this; *cough* default *cough*.

PS. I've lost my memory stick, so I stole the image. :sly:

You're showing a lotus on midfield... oh wait... you know that already... :sly:

Next week's the ring?
See you in 7 days Jerry.:dopey:

Seriously, i might have a go at this one, seeing as the entire sight is dead apart from the prologue forum. :grumpy:

I may even do well with no competitors.

:irked:👍

well cool! 👍👍 dyin t sink my teeth into it, love that little lotus, been tuning one similar for some time, hope it pays off! 💡

This should be good, although I really can't wait for next week. I absolutely love the nurb.

I may even do well with no competitors.

Aren't there 25 entries on the leader board for week 153? I'd guess there will be more this week as some simply don't like 'n' tyres.

Love the car choice, Jerry!! Deliberately chosen the Elise to make a connection to last week perhaps (as the Speedster is basically an Elise with an Opel-cover (at least that's how I understand it))?

Also verrrrryyy happy to see you're next week teaser, as I simply adore the 'ring. Can't wait !! I only think you meant week 155 preview iso week 154 :p

First splits oh no first split :): 18.041 and board initiated

This week's results will be very different from Luxy as all will be decided in the final set of bends. Negociating that part of the track reminds me of a movie adagium: there is no spoon. Anyone?

Setup (for what it's worth from mr craplap): try out semi-racing. Tricked the tranny to 4.4. Set the braking values higher than you might. No aids needed.

Maybe a nice picture to replay the Midfield one:

I can't even get double that T1 time, Jesus Christ your fast. :guilty:

You could try tuning your car, or driving the right course.

Seriously, its one corner before the T trap, im sure it cant be taking you 20 seconds longer to turn once.

:irked:👍

My bad I was driving twin Motegi east. :nervous:

Second split after 30 minutes of MR waggle driving: 17.863
Where is all first WRS day enthusiasm? Is GT5P finally kicking in? Hope not or this will be a long boring year :nervous:

First attempt.
17.426 ...

^ignore that^

Needs work. It's the corner after T1 (turn 3) that keeps getting me :(

First 100 miles for this combo and I came up with this t1.

17.897

Awful lot of 17.8's so far, this could get tight by weeks end.👍

The hardest part of this combo is finding the turn-in point for turn 3, as waynz has stated.

Much more fun this week Sphinx. Thanks man! :)

Meh, I might sit out this week.

I did like 10 laps and got so bored I couldn't take it anymore.

And the brakes suck on this thing.

17.4 are you sure about that split? Then again it is sim mode :dunce: All I could manage in about 30 min was 17.60x ONCE usually 17.67 or something....just curious cause that one hell of turn 1/2 dude 👍

17.602 and still messin' around with the settings, nothing too consistent yet to post settings for :indiff:

My first splits.....or I mean split.

17.684

Oh I did tune, and I fixed the brakes, I just got really bored driving around that tiny circle for so long.

I was getting around 17.8 sector times, with lots of room for improvement, but I just don't feel like putting in any more effort.

I agree. Braking is easy (just react immediately to the flashing red 2) but turning in ... my fastest laps are always where I turn in as soon as I dare, and when I wait a little I always end up in the grass

LUXY update - the first WRS week I've seen where the board will stretch for no more than a second :)

Just on that note, I use the Sixaxis as my controller. (The Sixaxis is the default controller for the PS3).

First T1: 18.326

As I did last week, bought everything and then run some laps at default settings. On almost every lap I'd run a better T1, but couldn't get under the final lap time. I'll be back! ;)

Well I can say from experience that you can get miles better if you did this on default settings (but no aids I presume). If I may suggest: try out high brake settings, LSD, and a low gearing number. Good luck, and I hope you perform this week as good as you did last 👍

Hey all should be an intresting week, with not much room for error with only 3 corners hehe...

Should be close best of luck to you all.

aint really had much to brag about up to yet but hopefully get better in the week

T1 - 17.853
But have seen better so watch out lmao!

EDIT: #1

ok got alot better splits in and here they are!

T1 - 17.467

QUIK!

Will try and have a go this week, hope there is still some slow guys here! :D

Funny challenge, but find the good moment to brake or you're in the sand...

With no tuning at all on racing gearbox and racing suspension, after 10 laps:

00.18.356

I can do better for sure. Try again tomorrow. :)

BTW, I have a ACL TV, 32 inches. Component cables, but still prefer the screen with the basic cable, is that normal ?

I'm not sure what an ACL TV is. Is that the manufacturer or relative to LCD and DLP screens.
Is it an HDTV?
The other question may be obvious, but did you change the settings for the screen in the options.
Some people have said it just depends on the TV also.
Hope this helps some.

Back on topic, I haven't beat my t1 time but I did improve the overall by.3.

Hey bigracer. I accidently made a muddle of the rules so I guess you better take down my time :( ... Serves me right for only glancing at the rules huh ...

I'll be back... :D

Still default settings except brakes that are at 20 in front, 18 on the rear...

Finally after 25 laps between 0'18.128 and 0'18.325:

0'18.023

I'll do better in the next days...
