Hello everyone, welcome to week 16 of the GT4 WRS! Time to try your choice of JGTC NSX's this week. We will run this event in GT Mode, not Arcade Mode. Since we will be tuning this week, it is considered good etiquette to post the setups you are running so that others may try them out. In other words, be friendly and help those that are having trouble.:)

Gran Turismo Mode:
Original Circuits / Practice (5 Cr.)
Track :
Grand Valley Speedway (Forward) / Hotlap
Car:
Any of the following Honda NSX JGTC race cars listed below, with appropriate ballst to even the field.

Stage 4 Turbo, Race Slicks in any combination.
Car may be tuned using all available parts, chassis stiffeners, wheels, wings, oil changes, etc. The only thing that will NOT be allowed is nitrous. Every other part can be fitted as the driver wishes, as long as ballast is added as needed per individual car as shown beolw. All figures are from new cars after adding Stage 4 turbo and oil change:

YEAH! Now that's what I'm talking about!!!!!

Great track choice, great car choice!

Love it!

Neil

Oh man!!! This is going to be good!!! I love Grand Valley!!! The best track of the original Gran Turismo circuits! Good choice CFM 👍 !

execellent, this will be great for my JGTC qualifying! perfect with round 6...

yes, i´m going to be a close friend with the NSX from now on i think...

great choice! is a fast car! gt mode! :dopey:

Seems like an interesting race 👍

Too bad it's in Simulation Mode: I suck at setting up cars :indiff:
Maybe this will be the time I'll learn how to :D

I will try it tonight.

The Wizard.

mmmmmm what to say???!!

this is gonna be a tough race for me, having limited interenet and all. one week where i'll need to read lots to find out whats best, and i wont be able to!!

my driving is in the hands of vexd then!! no pressure or anything!

good luck people cos i think we're gonna need it this week.

well thought out week CFM :ouch:

GT_Fan2005
your not the only one pal!

Yeah, but the "H-Brothers" usually give me anywhere from 1 second to 3 seconds only in Arcade Mode... This means in Simulation Mode the seconds will more than likely become 5+ :D

I have to learn how to set up a vehicle if I want to be anywhere "competitive"...

The Wizard.

is that the third honda in the last 6 or 7 weeks?

yes I think it is... I love the combo, but i´m thinking that we won´t be hearing VTEC´s after this one...

You like breaking my hard earned bank don't you CFM? :p This ought to be exciting though with an MR JGTC car. Can't wait to get started.

Oh goody ... nice track and on exactly the same week that I'm racing on it for the JGTC, so this'll be a great double-load of practice. Nice car combo and choice, too ... good work, CFM.

Aww man CFM You are always coming through for me! I dont care how i do this week I will atleast have fun! Plus there is no stupid AI to ruin my sunshine

Also has anyone else noticed how the stands at some of the tracks have alot of empty seats? In a world of racing you think there would be a bit more e-support! Honestly it looks as If midfield could lose its races due to tiny crowds! Grand Valley is not bringing in the same crowd it used to. Autumn ring is still very strong!

Well, here's some splits that will be embarassingly bad in all probability...

T1: 32.707
T2: 1'03.277

That's with the Castrol Mugen, and not really any tuning yet. Poke fun if you must.:ouch:

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm SOOOOOOO excited to run this combo!!!! KICKASS!

Awesome Awesome Awesome! w00! Thanks CFM!

(PS. I call Arta! Ok, I'll let you use it too if you want... Well, actually, that Loctite looks pretty cool too...)
(PSS. I love the track, moreso on GT2 though, and love the cars!)

Nice combo CFM, :) just oversteering a bit too much for me..

Here is some t times:

31.086
1'00.474

Using the Loctite.

1'00.2xx in the Mobil 1 after some laps. This thing is really twitchy but a lot of fun to drive 👍

Edit: Full T-times

T1: 31.274
T2: 1'00.265

For those of you who complained for the last 3 weeks about understeering cars, this week is the solution for you!

The car is very twitchy and is not afraid to turn in. I think I'm going to enjoy this race!

NICE COMBO CFM!

Too bad the Takata NSX isn't in the fray - I love that thing, but it isn't twitchy like these older NSX racers.

I will throw together a lap this afternoon and post my T's eventually. Good luck to all!

Sweet. Sounds like this week will be my return to the WRS. Even if I'm busy is or not, I'M RUNNING THIS RACE! *polishes his NSXs and tries to decide which one to drive*

I'm definitely in for this one, didn't like the combo last week. I've not tried the new Grand Valley yet, will have to get up to speed

dam, i need to improve.

T1: 33.628
T2: 1'05.937

in the mobil 1 at the moment.

WRS, JCTC and DTM are all running on Grand Valley and its variation this week. Nice coincidence.

I'll use my DFP for the first time this week. Hope its fun. :)
