To the newbies and as a reminder to the oldbies: when posting your splits for the 'Ring please state your splits for T3, T6 and T9.
Thanks and bon courage 👍 :nervous:

God has been listening, the Ring and Thé Alfa! :p

First splits with a horrible T1

T3: 1'40.976
T6: 3'28.526
T9: 5'15.458

Here are my first splits:

T3 1'37.776
T6 3'23.899
T9 5'08.429

I took it very carefully to get one clean run,
there is propably a 4'5x.xxx possible at T9

I had to race the Italian Festival to get the ALFA ROMEO 155 2.5 V6 TI Race Car '93
Also had to drive the 'Z' Club to get NISSAN Fairlady 240ZG (HS30) '71 open in arcade mode for Jake's 240Z Time Trial.

slowly getting to 80% completition of GT4 by these "needs"

Marc, when you set up the leaderboard for a Nurbie week it's the easiest to copy the t3-t6-t9 lines from a previous combo (eg week 170) to make sure you don't make typos - good luck 👍 and thanks for your work.

OOPS I see we used to do t3-t6-t8 in 170 tho 107 was 3-6-9 ... I leave it to you and the mod to decide what to do :dopey:

I noticed that too, but for now, let's stick to 3-6-9 for this one. 👍

Yaay, another date at the ring :D I simply adore this track, so I'm very happy to see it on the menu once again, although I'm not really keen on the car.

Drove 2 quick test-laps tonight. Last one still had too many mistakes, but it was clean, so I'll use that to get me on the board:

T3: 1'37.938
T6: 3'23.234
T9: 5'06.533

Still a lot of time left out there on the track...

i gotta try this tomorrow. Hehe, see how fast i maybe be......... i just hope i have the alfa :S

Steven

I guess we did T3,T5 and T8 at 170 :dunce:

It looks like I need to make some time to do a little racing this week... :sly:

I just realized that I started here at the WRS during week 130, that makes a year and this week's combo is at my favorite track. :)

As always (at the Ring) I'm looking to do well this week. :sly:

First run...Probably my last!
I'm not good at this track at all!!!

1'38.263
3'26.195
5'11.906

i say as raz_10, i am not good at this track becuse i just hate it. Even if i make the apex i still can just throw out of the track and loose my time. But my fastest T1 sector was 1.37.768.

I really hate this track, so i wont even bother to try it again.

Great combo, Relatively easy to stay on the track - at least at 9/10ths - finding those last few seconds at the limit might be a whole nother story.

1:37.724
3:21.718
5:06.154

Using 330 gears

I found another clean lap:

T3: 1'38.132 (seen low 1'37 )
T6: 3'24.402
T9: 5'09.629

I brought it up not that long ago, but as long as we are at it. :sly:

Week 112 GT4
(Sjaak's first race as WRS Moderator)

I finished 24th out of 25 racers. :ouch:

And I went back and ran it not that long ago, beat my subbed time on my second lap.

Nice sjaak! I wish I would have known about the WRS back then. I just did laps for fun to post at gttimes :)

Jerome

Well, after 6 mad laps I come up with these splits:

t3 - 1'38.288
t6 - 3'23.697
t9 - 5'06.961

I think there are a few more seconds to be had. I hope I can find them. What a machine! Sticks good, too!

!!!!!!UPDATE!!!!!UPDATE!!!!!!
I dropped a few more seconds in my splits:

T3 - 1'37.118
T6 - 3'21.561
T9 - 5'03.561.

And it's CLEAN. I always have at least two wheels on the track. 👍:sly:

Great work Marc - thanks a lot, I know this role can be quite time-consuming 👍
My pleasure, so far it hasn't been very time consuming. :)

Nice combo. Extra power seems to overwhelm this car's setup. It is very hard to keep in a neutral state and be consistent(haven't been so far):ouch::ouch:
Nice car too. I have tested this car with reduced power and lower grip tires. It challenges one to better his/her corner entry. However, in general, 4WD is not my thing. I like them on mud though :sly:

At the moment, I only have a dirty lap in hand, full of simple mistakes. At least, It doesn't contain legal grass and curb "tricks":). Hopefully, I'll make an effort to run a clean one. As I said, I have been inconsistent and the darn, numb, useless brake pedal isn't helping when there are tons of tenths left at corner entries. Splits:

T3: 1'34.513
T6: 3'16.245
T9: 4'55.766

Hi crx1299, I understand that those splits are not from a clean run, so I'll not put them on the leaderboard for now. Dirty or not, those are incredible splits! 👍
