I just submitted my qualifing times to Flat-Out a little earlier!

Okay..I didnt know that with race cars you could limit your top speed...makes perfect sence. Cant wait to get my division assignment and start racing! Thanks for the quick reply!

You don't have to wait, just pile on in and get dirty!

Cyril will assign you a division at the end of the race week (Tuesday).

Good luck, and don't get discouraged by the times that guys like Holl01, MrW, Casio and the likes put down. They are the best of the best.

Busted my wrist up tonight riding some new dirt jumps on my BMX so I probably won't be doing times of any note for a few days, (SHUT UP Neil!), not that they're usually that good anyway but I will be trying my hardest to make sure Neil ends up with this for next week.

Looking at the leaderboard, it's fairly obvious where I'm losing most of my time.

The first sector! 1.4ish of second down @T1, but only .3ish lost @T2. And I think I know where it is..........


It's at the kink b4 Degner curve, and Degner curve itself.

For some reason I don't seem to be able to commit to the kink, whether it's because it's one of those corners that you don't really see till your on-top of it, or because there is very little to get a braking reference point off, or my resized display 'fuzzing' the picture making it hard for me to see it.

Don't know.

At least I know what to work on.

Well I totally missed my braking point after that 131 thingy or w/e its called and ruined a 1:29.6...AAAHHHHH!!!!! O well, maybe I'll find more time later, eh?

EDIT: Ha ha one more lap and got .001 faster at T2...lol but lost about .2 in the end :( Another .4 atleast and I'll happy(er), Killer time u got Rob, I think u've been improving nicely man 👍 Here's to you Colby ;)

nice work there, i was thinking of using 310 gearing last night but couldn't be bothered, but seeing you squeeze a few more tenths out of it means i might have to give it a crack :sly:
 
290 gearing, used 5th for right, then 3rd for right at 110 initially (holding accelerator down for all these corners accept for the one b4 T1), then approach the s's...... quick 3rd for right at its maximum revs, then left at 155, then right at 120ish in 3rd, next left quick dab of brakes down to 165ish is sufficient, quick right in 5th at 190, right at 110 in 3rd...pass T1. hairpin, brake a car length after rumble, down to 2nd, start 5/6th throttling it at 55, full throttle when safe, double left, take first left at 145 (no left foot brake here), brake into the corner and as late as possible, remember exit speed here isnt important for the first part, so reall brake into the corner as deep as possible, then for the left, 110 in 3rd (shift at maximum revs everywhere) ....daunting fast left 260 if ur lucky in 6th, and last section in 3rd at 75 ish for the right, cutting slightly, and just 'c what happens' in the exiting final corner, u might need to tap the brakes or something

As usual the aliens are blitzing everyone. TBH I haven't tried it yet (I going right now), but you can see the top 2/3 this week already. Excellent work.

Grr... I knew I should've gone with my instinct and practiced with 290 gearing last night. I ended up using 310, and didn't manage anything due to tiredness. I bet I could've done something on 290... :grumpy: Lol, anyway, thanks for the tips Dan!

This is my first race in WRS ( I havent even been given a division yet) But I figured I would give it a go...

I have never used this car and believe it or not have never raced on this track (I have been playing GT4 on and off since it came out...pathetic)

I ran around the track for about 40 minutes and came up with this...

I am losing a lot of time between t1 and t2. I think 48.xxx might be out of the question for normal people haha.

Dont extract anymore PLEASE, awesome times dude! I mess up the hairpin everytime i try gears lower than 310, but to hell with it!! Im going to adjust to 290 :guilty:
