WHAT IS IT?
The WRS Photomode Competition allows WRS'ers the opportunity to show their Photomode skills. You're task is to create a picture that can be used for the Week 86 results thread (much like the example above.) At the end of the week all entries in this thread will be judged by myself or the previous winner (Ren-Tec) and a new winner will be determined.

WHAT ARE THE RESTRICTIONS
The only restrictions placed on the photo you create are:
  • Photo must be 400 x 300 pixels
  • Photo must relate to the Week 86 race
  • Photo must contain the phrase "WRS Week 86 Results"
  • Photo must be submitted before Tuesday the 19th of December
And that's it! Only one photo per competitor but feel free to update your entry during the week 👍

So what are you waiting for........get out there and start racing and/or snapping some pics :sly:

As I am finishing up exams later this week, I'll see if I can get something in by then. Do you mind if I use the NA model of the car though, as I prefer its looks. Difference is the white roof instead of color matched.
 
here's my first entry for this week. how the heck can you come up with something original for this week's combo? beats me ...

i was checking on my lap # 9 to see if it was clean and thought the picture not too bad for closing up the week.
 
In photoshop, you can just resize it based on width or length.

In paint, it takes a bit more guess work, but I forgot how now that I have an install of PS again.

You could also look into getting the GIMP image editor, but its a little tricky to use :P
 
One way with Paint (although somewhat dodgy) is to preview your image in Windows Previewer and resize that window until your picture is about 400 x 300, then take a screen shot and paste it into Paint 👍
 
Colby is it alright if i choose the winner this as i will not be posting a pic myself and i hope some more people post some soon 👍
 
Is it allowed to alter the picture, besides putting the text on it and resizing it?

I actually deleted the hyundai logo because it didn't go well with the rest of the theme of the picture.
But then i needed to fill up the blue gap and ,since the gtp logo has a blue background, that was the best option ;)

Testing ways to upload......

EDIT: tried to upload through "manage attachments" but the file is too big(159kb)

Is there no image hosting site where you can upload at custom sizes?
 
Don't have the 'ol photoshop on my machine.....maybe I can submit a picture and one of you fine people can resize it for me.....:crazy:
 
Well, I'll admit I'm very lame when it comes to pc stuff so untill I get it all sorted out I'll post a pic the wrong size again. Sorry guys....
 
Your shot looks awesome dustdriver, may want to change the phrase at the bottom from "WRC" to "WRS" though :sly: 👍

Very nice lthiele but where is the Opal speedster turbo or the VauxhallVX220 turbo?
