I used 230, I thought that 220 gears gave too much wheel spin.

220 gears gave too much wheelspin if you went back to 3rd, or if you were injudicious with the throttle in 4th.

That's why when I said use only 4th gear that's why.
I was using 220 gear and 4th worked really good.

a memorable race it was, congrats to hotboi for winning the race unofficially, beating me by a bees dick more time and probably 2 or 3 of us would have dipped below 1'17 for sure, replay in a bit

i used 220, and the only time i used 3rd gear was for the first corner, it was unessassary to use it for the other hairpins.

Well, my sister is 12 - but this wasn't one of her best laps. She was watching me, and asked if she could try. After her lap, she asked if I could submit it as well... It was her first time playing any driving-games, and because of the wheelspin this week, she took 4th-5th gear only. An hour after the deadline she got a 3'40 in a regular roadcar, with a 3rd of the Xsara's HP, though.

I am glad at least that you have someone to enjoy the game with, nobody in my house dares/offers/is-willing to race me , man I wish I had time to submit after new years eve, I had some nice pics, while watching/verifying if my 35lap replay with the clean lap was "clean" ... oh well I'll just post them in my gtp gallery.

Well I have my little sister(NightmareHunter), but see doesn't like to race me because I'm alot faster.

Checked the replays of Sjaak and Kart38

Sjaak's replay is clean as a whistle with no close calls whatsoever ... sweet lap mate 👍

Karts submitted 1'17.3 lap has a close call on turn 3 but after inspection in photo mode I can say the front end is lifted in the air directly above the outer edge of the rumble strip and is good enough to pass 👍
also Karts run of 1'17.0 is totally clean with only one part just after T2 that I had to check and it was only close but totally clean Great laps mate ... unlucky you ran such a great lap after the deadline

Cheers mate .... sometimes the brakes are not really needed eh tip tap here and there on the throttle is sometimes just as effective and also it cuts out the wheelspin 👍

I have your replay Dan and will view it after I get back from picking the kids up from school in about 30 mins 👍
