Awesome T3 there man, haven't dipped below 1'55.5xx myself, but I can see it 1'55 flat eventually! 👍 With the power down where it's at, it makes it much easier to complete a lap without going off. I can agree that it's underpowered, but it's giving everyone a chance to get some clean laps in. Which is somewhat rare when we approach the 'ring. Other than the MG MGFs anyway. I loved that race too, don'tcha know... :sly:

So, I have some clean splits for the LEADERboard:
T3: 1'55.596
T6: 4'04.167
T9: 6'05.566

I must say, my section between right around T7 was AWESOME. Lovely low angle drifts all put together at high speeds, what a rush! :dopey:

At the end of the lap I accidentally bumped the e-brake while slowing down at the end of the straight in my anxiety, didn't cost me too much though as I still finished 1.8 seconds ahead of my previous best(which turned out to be dirty anyway).

Still two seconds overall in it for me that I can see at this point, don't know how long it'll take me to get them, or if I end up going even faster, but definitely expect something JUST under 6'05 at T9. 👍

I see I'm gunna have to put in some more laps to try to keep up! :nervous:
 
Yeah I haven't even touched it so I'm way behind as well. I'll try and post some initial splits here in the next hour or so :) Hope all is well man, it has been a long time since we've battled, see ya on the track dude!

EDIT: Well its been a long time comin for me and this track, yikes...I yet to have a clean lap but have seen a 6:10 with two offs (one in the damn sand too, argh!) hehe, o well, I had one good lap just behing you BHawk, T4 was a 2:51.xxx, done about 5 laps and my wrist hurts from Guitar Hero this weekend. But I'll come back to this later.

All of these driver's I don't know:). Well I tried this today and did ok.
I will try it again tomorrow.

6:09.0 (again another off and a slow section here should be able to hit 6:04 if all goes like it SHOULD)

Well, you should be glad you didn't update on the LeSarthe week... It definitely wasn't my idea to post ALL the splits! Lol.

And, you added a second onto my T9, and Pat has a faster time that he edited into his post.

Wassup everyone it's good to finally be back!! This new job is taking over......and I still got work ahead of me so I dunno how often I'll be back. Anyway onto the only thing anyone here cares about:

I'm lovin this weeks race though, great track + great car.

I'm putting way too much time into this :D and still there's a bunch of time to be found. Fresh splits:

T3 - 1:57.295
T6 - 4:06.741
T9 - 6:09.767

Suggestion for those still searching for some speed; do not shift into 6th until the engine is about to bump up against the rev limiter (about 7400 rpm, or 140 mph).

Yup. Depending on where you are on the track, shift between 7200 and 7400. Higher is better, but at some points it's good to shift early so you aren't shifting in the middle of a turn.

The first main turn after the initial one(high speed right) can be taken flat out. The jump right after T1 and following sweeping right into the high speed section can be taken flat out. The sweeping high speed left can be taken almost flat out, but not quite.

And other stuff, but that's a start. 👍

And James, you have our times messed up still... The splits you put in for me are Pat's splits, sorry to confuse you there... Look up the page to find my splits, you had them right before, except you added on a second to my T9. 👍

The only way I'll be able to submit a replay is if someone here at GTP has a PS3 and GT4 that would look at it. Would that work? My old ps2 hates the max drive disk.

Been GT4'less for the past couple of days (due to a DRE) but I am currently borrowing a friends copy, so I thought I would give this combo a few runs before I get stuck into the JGTC qualifier.

I had forgotten how much I loved racing on the 'ring, so I raced this combo a lot more times than I expected...and I'm still not satisfied. Anyways here are my sector times.

T3 - 1'55.759
T6 - 4'04.680
T9 - 6'07.721

Probably another 1 or 2 seconds left in it for me, hopefully I'll get to run this again before the deadline.
