Been busy mainly with college after my retirement, besides trying to take care of the red tape usually associated with becoming a civilian again :p

Ok. I didn't get around to getting a new time. So I'll try again tommrow and then send in my time. I just don't think I can go any faster. But it shouldn't hurt to try again. Laters.

see? i only hope i held him off at the line. actually i already know i didn't but since nobody else does, i'll just pretend i'm hoping to hold him off at the line till the final results come out.

oh please man, nothing of the sort. this is just a good combo for me and i suck in the last sector anyway. i'm just shooting for 1st place behind the elite drivers. the sun even shines on an old dog's ass every now and then.
 
This is rough business. I'm trying to get ahead of my ghost... So yeah, Kenny, if you're not too sure about your last sector, I probably have you beat. I really want to chop some more time off though!!! We'll see how much time I decide to devote to this further. I really should try go locate my wallet though, it seems to have gone missing since yesterday evening, and that is a VERY, VERY bad thing considering the amount of money and stuff that I NEED is in it.
 
Meh, nevermind. I'm not liking this week THAT much, and could spend the time on JGTC where I've been slacking a bit too much. Gotta leave some time for the upcoming week 100 too!!! Submitting my time from my first session, see you all in the results and next week!
 
Got the car back earlier this week after having the auto tranny swapped out for a manual gearbox. First time driving a stick in the game. Lots of fun and lots of re-learning. Starting to "feel it" now and managed splits of:

59.738

But I'm having fun!

you'll probably be completely acclimated to shifting by tomorrow or tuesday. once you have it down it will become second nature to the point that you don't even realize you're doing it, it's just happening. it's something that each and every one of us went through and you'll be happy you did it when it's all said and done..

I'm chasing about .15x at t2, and I also lost at least .2xx in the last sector, I'll have one more go at it tomorrow.

I'm no where near being in the fastest group here but, believe it or not my times have improved greatly by "slamming the gears" myself eh? Besides, it's more fun.

As for my splits, the faster they are the worse I am at the line, if I get there at all....go figure!

Knees are bad today so I get to sit and give it a final go. Maybe I can finally put all three sectors together and make a go of it in Div III. :nervous:

Well, I used the 320 gearing and saw a 56.6xx on my 4th lap but stuffed in the following turn. I then tried for 4 hours to get it again but never did cleanly. :ouch: Now my thumb hurts and time is submitted. What a week!

If those are D3 splits we need a new D4 for us slow pokes. :scared:

I'm done with this week. I've had some great splits but was unable to put it all together in the same run. Onward and upward I say............next!!
