There are many threads and news columns discussing all of this. Try using the "search" tool to look for existing threads about this. Or, just browse the site. Hacked cars or "Hybrids" as they're called often, are a hot topic right now, so there's no shortage of discussion on them.
To answer your question, I'm not 100% sure but am pretty confident that you can no longer modify the body of cars. There are a couple of things that you can get away with but for the most part, you can no longer change the majority of the things that you could earlier on.
So, unless somebody more knowledgable comes along and corrects me, the answer is no.
