GT5 Car Wish List Ver.4.5 (NO MORE REQUESTS)

Audi
Audi R8 LM race car '04
Audi R8 Champion Racing ALMS race car '04
Audi R8 50th ALMS win/final race race car '06
Audi R10 TDI race car '07
Audi S4 sedan '07

Peugeot
Peugeot 203 '50
Peugeot 403 '66
Peugeot 908 HDi-FAP race car '07

I would really like to see the Pug 403 in GT5(probably won't happen) as my father and uncle raced (quite successfuly)one at Mansfield Motorsports Park(about 25-30 years ago when it was still dirt).

And as for the '07 R10(which may/may not end up in the game), I don't know if it really needs to be on the list, as it doesn't look much different(aside from paint scheme) from the '06 cars, at least to the untrained/unaided eye. However, it's lighter, has slightly better aero(especally with the sprint race, or what Audi Sport calls the "Sebring" package), and a smaller fuel tank due to diesel vs. gas engine equivalancy issues.

And Champion Racing's Audi R8 paint schemes just looked cool, and the 50th win R8 was the last R8 raced in competition(granted, they could just as easily be appled to the '02 spec car if it ends up in the game).

And I put the '05.5-present S4('07 was just used as a repesenative year) as no Audi S4 with the "fishmouth" grille was included in the main list.

Just thought I'd ad what I wish would end up in GT5

^ Whatever floats your boat dude, I'm fine with it! :)

-> List updated! :dopey:

i have a question im a mistaken or this is a "wish list" right, not a "lets list every car i know list" why the heck would you want 44 different versions of civics. lol what is this, and that is just under honda, not all the tuners. i mean come on you can make a separate list called "look how smart i am by how many cars i can name" i know the tone of this post comes off offenceive and i will get a lot of dirty replys but that is not the intension. i just really want to see a list of cars that we wont and will relisticly have a chance of making it into the game. sry if this post comes off mean i was just really put off on the size of the list i mean gosh how many cars are on that sucker.

^ That also goes with 80+ versions of Mustangs. But seriously, this thread is not about bragging rights or such, it just were having fun here. We all know here in GTP, that even 25% of all the cars that is featured on the wish list won't make it on GT5 (or any future GT's for that matter). If I'm a little bit harsh, I'm sorry. ;)

-> To answer you last sentence, hmm...maybe around 6,500 cars, my real wish is 10,000. :dunce:

:)

Now I'm just being nit-picky, but "Ford Mustang Boss 302 TransAm '68" does not exist.

^ Maybe it mean't as a Trans Am race car, I just edited that particular car. I know the name "Trans Am" belongs to a Pontiac and some ol' skool AMC's. :)

Wow.... This is quite a number of cars isn't it?

Also.... The tuners go under their distinct tuning shops.

Just like in GT4.

OFF TOPIC : I'm at my dads work, and It wont let me PM people... Does anyone here know of any internet proxies? So that I can post in all the threads?

Going to start from the "A"s in my list
+List+

^ List updated! :dopey:

Just doing the last of the Aussie muscle......there are a couple that require fixing for cars post 1990 in there but Ill get around to it a little later.Here goes....

+List+

Ive noticed heaps and heaps of tuner cars on the list and wanted to know what the rule is regarding what makes it in??? I love the Brabus's, Lingenfelters and such ( higher volumes and more prominent in the world stage I guess) but what about the smaller ones???????

^ First of all, list updated! :dopey:

-> To answer you question, smaller tuning arms are acceptable. As long it differentiates it to the completely stock/other tuned cars. :)

Sorry to keep hounding you, but Trans Am race car or not, the Boss 302 did not exist untill 1969. Their was a Mustang Trans Am race car for 1968, but it was the same body style that had been used since 1966 when the series started. My only problem is that it says "Boss 302" if it was just labled as Mustang Trans Am racer then that would have been perfectly fine. Just trying to clean up this insanely long list!:crazy:

^ I do apologize on that, I only have very little knowledge on classic race cars. Thanks for the help! ;)

-> I've noticed that there are some cars on the request that has team names like the C.O.T. Impala. Sorry, but I have to reduce the race car it to a <Plain Body> status, if its the same car kindly please lessen these types of cars, thanks! :)

---------------

-> And as for our fellow RACECAR, kindly refine your list a bit, and there is a ridiculous slew of team-based race cars and a LOT of duplicates. Please look at the rules thoroughly and browse list first before going gun-ho. Plus, you double post!!

-> Your list has been denied, but if you fix it, then I'll reconsider. Nothing personal, sorry. :)

Ah, sorry. I would note, though, that '50s stock cars like the Kiekhaifer Chrysler would have unique tuning compared to other cars of the same type (In fact, I dont' know of any other 300 team in '55)

oops! That was an accident. My computer acted up. I have shorted it a little. some of the Team based race I got the idea from the Dodge Viper GTS-R Team Oreca and as for the duplicates, I just get sick of seeing the same Paint Scheme on some race cars so thats why those were there.

^ But there are a lot of duplicates you know...don't worry, I'm not bagging you out. I took time to look at your list, impressive! But you still don't follow the correct format.

-> And as for same paint schemes, I know your point there. But that can be easily configurable by PD, and plain body schemes are great when you start the much rumored 'career mode'. As you start your career, your race car will have little or no sponsors, but as you progress...you get the idea. :)

^ But there are a lot of duplicates you know...don't worry, I'm not bagging you out. I took time to look at your list, impressive! But you still don't follow the correct format.
yeah, some or those duplicates are actually different versions of certain cars. for instance, The Courage C65 '03 is the LMP675 version, whereas the Courage C65 '04 is the LMP 2 version. The Dorans, Lolas, Rileys, and the Crawfords are like the Pescarolo Courage C60 Peugeot and the Pescarolo C60 Playstation Judd in that they are essentially the same car, but with different engines. even the Spykers I had up had different engines. the '03 car had a BMW V8, while the 04 car had an Audi V8. but I'll get rid of those if you like.

sounds great, but while thats promising, there supposed to be online play for GT4 and that never happened so who knows. I hope its true, but I might be getting my hopes up once again. as I said about the double post, my Computer messed up so i assumed that it didn't send it.

^ I think thats a valid reason, I'll update the list once I can get a hold of a PC. I currently use my PS3 as of now, I'm still a newb on this thing but it is amazing! :)

RACECAR-> List updated! :dopey:

^ But some of the cars that you listed up there are duplicates and race team that are already included on the original manufacturers list. Thanks for the list! :)

I've been looking through the list and didn't find the following;
