Hello everyone!
I'm a new user here and I've got this question. I'm getting a PS3 this month and definitely GT5 for it. I'm currently building my own custom steering wheel and pedals based on Saitek PS1000 gamepad (suitable for both PC and PS3). The PS3 will see it as the Saitek PS1000 and I'm planning to assign what would be the right X axis of the gamepad to my accelerator pedal and y axis to the brake pedal.
My question is: in GT5 can you assign the 'Accelerate' option to the whole axis X of the left or right analog stick (meaning that if you tilt the analog stick all the way down your car will stand still and if you move it halfway it will increase the car's revs halfway and if you tilt the stick all the way up it will increase the car's revs all the way); or does it only allow you to assign the 'Accelerate' option to increase the car's revs when tilting from the center of the stick upwards? (meaning that if you tilt the stick downwards nothing happens)
I realise this is a confusing question but hopefully you'll be able to understand. If somebody wanted to help me but would be confused, please let me know, I'll try to explain myself in a clearer way.
Thanks!
