This. Also the one at the Mercedes factory in Germany

For all us Brits there is also 4 booths in Mercedes Benz World at Brooklands in Surrey - SLS at the 'ring.

Was there at the weekend but didn't have a go as the F1 was about to be shown but they were offering the top 5 times of the day an SLS driving experience.

yeah you think like me
I really don't understand people which want a demo...

kamisaya lol we will see ...

I am sure that they will not realase a demo ,it would be a stupid idea
everyone know how awesome GT5 is

Agreed, any additional presentation of GT5 will be overkill in-my-opinion.

Although, if Sony Marketing has/had different ideas...then they will have a demo and charge 1.99 USD for it..make another million so on..

I really doubt they would put out a demo at this point. From what I've read and heard, compiling a demo is a lot more difficult and expensive than most people seem to think. And we already had a very extensive demo in the form of Prologue (and TT too, ofcourse)

Point is, there's already two or three demo's that have already been created that they could touch up and release to the public. (E3 demo being one of them) They don't have to create something all new, just give us what they already have.

i have a pic of someone playin gt5 2010 demo on there ps3! i suppose its possible that we will have a demo but we already have the prologue unless PD wants to give the gamers who have never seen or herd of GT to experience it??? maybe just a month before its out 3 laps of rome?

Agree! I don't see how it could really do any harm, to what could only widen the audience.

why don't they just release the playable demo at E3? that seems simple enough just remove the time limit

or a great PR thing would be release the top gear track and the suzuki Liana and see who gets the best time the top 10 times gets GT5 in october 1st or something that would be awesome

I wouldn't put much hope into seeing the TG track anywhere outside the full game. The way I see it, it's PD's "ace in the hole" since GT5 is the only game that has that track.

Yeah, that's a marketing scam. Don't be expecting a demo of GT5.

We get 3 free months to try it out, anyways. That puts us in September.

I agree. Seems to me they plaster GT5 images and footage on whatever they can, to grab people's attention. Looks like it worked again this time too :sly:

Wasn't any possibility of a demo denied by Kaz during the E3 press meetings?

indeed. I believe he mentioned that there wasn't enough time to make one.

Kaz said no demo

Funny how Kaz says they don't have time to make a demo, yet they made one for Nurbur 24h, Lemans 24h, E3, CES, etc. Sony could, and should, release the 2010 E3 demo without the 2min limitation and it would be more than satisfactory for a lot of folks.

Kinda what I was thinking. Kaz said there was no time or money for a demo and I though well that already have the demos made. All they would have to do is upload one or all of them to SN and what would be pretty much it. I don't see how that takes much time or money. It doesn't make sense.

There should be a demo

Hey, this is probably a stupid question that may have been answered before, but could somebody tell me why PD chose to disable the Time Trial demo? Did they have any reasoning for it? Obviously it was released primarily for that competition, but what's the harm in keeping it going?

Nothing will get released beforehand, I'd wager. They think that now that we have a release date, we don't want anything else. With all the talk of it the past year or more, who can blame them for that observation? I'm hoping they will have the demo available at PAX Prime this September in Seattle. That would be aces.

If you want PD to release a demo, you're a terrorist, simple as that.
Haven't your childish cries and demands delayed the game enough?:)

They already have about 100.000.000 demos, so they can EASILY pick-up one for us! :sly: That's it - no delay!
(If GT5 is delayed because of demos, so it ALREADY DELAYED because demos are done)

I see no downside to the release of a demo ... none what so ever. The work has already been done and the full game release would not be affected by it. All those who vehemently declare that we don't need a demo obviously don't relish playing the game as much as some others .... to each his own :) If a demo existed, I guarantee that none of us would be wasting time reading (or responding to) this thread.

As for the credibility of the originator of this thread, I would like to accept what he says in good honesty and would be more than willing to give him the benefit of the doubt if it weren't for the fact that he seems to be intentionaly leaning to the side of misrepresentation when he selects as his moniker, a misleading ID. Why would you create an ID of GT5staff if you didn't intend to mislead people ?

Prologue was in no way, a demo. GT5 has a totally new and unique physics engine and even the TT wasn't a true representation of the physics as far as some of us are concerned. I want to play as much or as little as I can as soon as I can. I'd sign up for Plus in a heartbeat if I thought there was going to be a GT5 demo available to subscribers. Even 2 weeks in advance .... yes, I'm that desperate :)

On a different note ... I can't help but wonder if the PLUS connection would help to eliminate the dreaded "Fail to Connect to Host" issue.

I would like to see a confirmation of that. Simply thinking that a game is this far along so making a demo from that takes 5 minutes, is probably wrong. Look at GT5P. It's a showcase of how far along GT5 was at the time it came out. Tell me that didn't take months and months away from the final product.
As for the part about me somehow not being as big of a fan as you cause I don't want a demo, give me a break. Honestly, how much more can your comments get? "You don't want the demo cause you're not a GT fan".

Come on chill out guys, we all want to see GT5 as soon as possible, we have already seen plenty of Demo's and things. Can't we all just be content waiting for November......like that's gonna happen. (Just thought I'd throw that out there).:trouble:
After all waiting is what we do best.👍
I'm sure GT5 will not dissapoint all those who have waited patiently!;)

Geez dude, take a chill pill ! I never said any such thing and why wouldn't you want to play a demo if you could. It really seems as though there are, as many have said already, existing demos .... why would releasing one of these delay the game ? I don't think that I said one could be created in 5 minutes as you state.

Let's say that you are in fact, just as avid a fan of GT as I. That being the case, I just don't understand your reluctance. I do not see Prologue as a delay as much as a natural stepping stone in the development process of the final game. I would love to play a GT5 demo right now instead of ........

You guys still remember this?

gt5-compilation-demo-1.jpg

It was FAKE, as far as I remember. That picture was from a year or two ago and someone brought it up again a few months ago.

No it wasn't fake, it was on the developers PSN and you had to have a debug kit to play it.

Where do you get the information it would take '5 minutes' pretty sure it's a much bigger job than that!

Most plaeses have the date month/day/year, making it November 3rd, one day after the confirmed date.

Micheal's right, the US is one of the ONLY places that does it MM/DD/YYYY, most places in the world write it out like this, DD/MM/YYYY. 👍

Not exctly true...

And yeah, that date is 11th March.
