I hope that this list or a big part of it is real,

but...

I do not know why but I feel that this track list is fake!

:odd:

guys guys guys, its just another short 30 days before we hear what will change our future :D

Enough with the speculations, even though it is fun, but lets just wait until June 2nd-3rd-4th and we all will know what will be going on.

Im really looking forward to E3!

Chris

Or we get nothing at the E3??? thats PD... everytime good for surprises...

But if Spa is in GT5 that would be awesome! Hockenheimring too!

The tracklist seems very nice, hope its no fake... Damn GT5 will kill our social life for less 1 year :(

^^^ but according to Amar's cryptic post, we'll hear some big news from GT in the coming E3.... *finger crossed*

Yeah, but still, this is PD. Their palm cards and powerpoint presentation for E3 will be delayed 3 months.:P

I don't think there will be the Nurburgring GP circuit because if you look at how the renditions of Le Sarthe are set out (dot point, then two dashes) there would be the GP circuit under Nordshliefe.
If this is so then it is a shame - but the rest looks great!
I think it might be necessary for the Nürburgring GP circuit to be in GT5, just so we can use that small (in comparison) section of the circuit for its pit lane (just as they do in the 24 hour race), because I highly doubt 16 cars could be fit in the pits we used in GT4.

Damn GT5 will kill our social life for less 1 year :(

like i already said in another thread, make the most out of your life now, spend time with parents, family, girl/boyfriend, friends, pets... your car, cause once GT5 is out, you wont have all those things anymore... :D

Chris

Man, I hope this is true. I hope I can reenact my GT Legends race, at Spa, in a Porsche, at night, with a damaged headlight. (GT junkies commence drooling.)

And also on top of that...Sony continues to talk about having there biggest E3 in years this year. I'm 100% confident that GT5 will be included. I'm not saying I'm right, but I'm confident :)

I think as others have said, there doesn't appear to be a great deal of credibility to that list, as it looks like one lifted from neogaf.

It's quite a nice list though, I hope we get something along those lines. :D

The game could literally release with more cars and tracks compared to prologue and it will be a purchase for me. If this game is going to release this year or before June 2010 it is a certainty GT5 will show up in E3. If the game has a release date at E3 literally 10 minutes could easily be spent in there conference out of the hour talking about what PD have been doing since Spec III.

Off topic but I have no played prologue for a very long period of time......has the online been fixed yet or is it as terrible as when the prologue released? I have to say that if it is still in bad shape that does make me worried since PD esentially released prologue to make the online for the full game good (also the $$$ :P).

For sure many cars and tracks will come as add on downloadbale content simply because just like any other company PD will want to milk this game for all it's worth. For example Killzone 2 just got 2 new downloadable map packs which sold £5 or something like that, those could have been on the disc but to start milking the game they released it as an add on.

I am sure Sony and PD are banking on those GT nuts whom will buy all these cars and what not as add on content, my guess something like £1 for 2 cars or something along those lines. Think about it though, if 100k people purchase that car pack PD have made another 100k which they would not have got were the cars on disc. LBP is probably a better example, every week a new skin releases for £2. :/

........basically expect a large amount of cars and tracks to come via downloadbale content. :(

Umm. or they can release a 60 dollar version and you can buy the upgrades and what-not or buy the entire full game for like 80-99 dollars? It would come with all the tracks and cars and skins as a collector edition. I would buy that.

+1

Yeah me too, i drove it to death in every racing game where the track is implemented and i still cant race it enough, same with Brands Hatch.

They could but it would just not work out, for one many could get confused with which one to purchase and not go with the $60 version simply because they would think it is not the full game.

Don't get me wrong GT5 when released will come with a huge number of cars and tracks. HOWEVER I see no reason at all why GT5 will not go the way for 99% of other games released and sell DLC. This DLC will probably already be made before the game releases but for a few extra $$$ will release it as an add on, every company does it! I think it is Namco and Capcom whom are famous for actually selling DLC which are just keys to unlock content which is already on the disc!

I've made a more convincing track list than that myself. I haven't published it because I made it up without any actual evidence but it just adds all the tracks from each GT game that has been made so far and the number adds up to 95.
It's quite a nice list though, I hope we get something along those lines. :D
Put those two lists together, and this is what I want for Christmas, Santa. :D

I want monza so bad!!
It's funny that so many say that, but I'm the same way. A nice basic but challenging track with nice long straights for fast racing.

And on the matter of DLC, I think one thing you can be sure of, anything Polyphony puts up for sale will definitely not be on the disc. Another is, unlike Forza and some other games, their DLC packs will be worth it.

First off, the version that would include all future DLC would probably be labeled as a Special Edition(not something new in the game world) which would provide consumers enough information to establish that the two are both the same game but the more expensive game has additional things(hopefully a "making of" DVD which would be awsome).

As for our second comment, Gran Turismo 5 is a first party game where the company's you listed are third party. The difference being that Sony is making the game for their own system, chances are any DLC released won't already be on the game.

Killzone 2 DLC map pack, did Guerrilla make that in a couple weeks? Not likely and after the full game releases I doubt PD will have employees spending 6 months modelling a car and selling it for £0.80 when most people have lost interest in the game. It's very simple, GT5 is going to have a huge amount of content especially when compared to other racing games so removing a couple tracks and cars from the disc means they can sell it later for £3 or whatever yet consumers will still be happy with the content they have gotten on disc.

I am sure Sony will release a special addition GT5 but do not expect the SE to have more cars and tracks compared to the normal version but instead another disc with development videos and what not.

No one answered by question from before. :(

Online in prologue is fixed, but is still lacking features. It is quite stable and the tech works. All they need to do with GT5 is to give users control over the events and have lobbys. PD has in the past done some fairly brain dead things, but I am sure we will get control back over online events in GT5.

all the names of tracks that he posted are based to the name of city and circuits that appear in the home menu of gt5p... me to i'm able to think this but its only a thought.. like it is...

and about damage, KY always told that there will be since gt2... but we never see nothing... this time he told to everyone that interview him, there will be.... he told that will be a dlc of prologue, nothing happened... but im sure that somethings about damage there will be this time in gt5 cuz he can't lie so much...

day/night cicle and weather i'm sure we will not see nothing about this, maybe only prerendered circuit like tsukuba wet in gt4.. and for me would be enough

i think gran turismo should have the special disk about 20 pounds or 20 dollars higher then the standard game and every bit of dlc is free for that game as i can not pay for things online because my debit card wont let me and in the uk we do not have them gift cards for the ps3

Love that track list but we need an australian track, give us Bathurst! The elevation changes in itself will make this track unique enough to include! Would be awsome to race if they include the V8 supercars!

Yeah I remeber day one of Prologue Japan edition, it was so laggy service. Same since day one US version. Now it's way less lag and smoother.

Yeah I hope for Private room and race makers, I am sure they will give it to GT5. Maybe they did not wanted to give it to Prologue because they dont wanna spoil us?

First, that has to suck.

Two, chances are if they do have a disc that includes all of the DLC it won't be until awhile after the game is out since chances are they won't have any DLC prepared(other than patches) at launch.

GT5 is going to be huge, let's not kid ourselves about it selling badly. Like any other big game the best thing to do would be the normal $60 copy and then the special edition with a booklet, making of the game and some more stuff.

I would think that would be the safest and smartest thing to do. I don't usually care about sales but I do hope this one sells well so we get a GT6......as if that's not going to happen. :P

Wasn't laggy for me, not anymore than now anyway. Might be because now you have the US version you are playing local people rather than hosts in Japan. While here in Australia we don't have such a large amount of local players at any given time so we are connected to US or Euro hosts. Japan is closer.

GT5 Prologue alone has sold more copies than Forza 2 (and much more than GT4P), and Forza is still kicking (apparently quite well) and thats not including Playstation store sales. It's a pretty safe bet GT5 will sell good, enough to warrent a juicy GT6 anyway.

I even remeber my US version, SPEC II and I still had lag problems.. Worst ones where I went close to another US player, and his car start to jump all over the place.. Or when Half the field right after SRART start to move yet other players lagged and usually were ones in front and making me hit them.. And sometimes it was mostly with 8 players.. Now I don't experience any of these problems. I think PD really did upgrades to ONLINE since latest SPEC III patch.

Maybe they did improve it somehow, but I never experienced those problems with local players.
