Well a fully tuned up Lambo won me both of these races. Thanks for the tip folks :)

I'm now at level 21 and I can get on with some more of those big earning races :D

I finally won deep forest in the Lambo. This has been the hardest but also the most enjoyable single player race so far. The Lambo is so much fun on this track! I use a gamepad with R2/L2 for acceleration/brake and R1/L1 for gear up / gear down. The Lambo was tuned to 280 km/h top speed. I saved all the replays and might make a video of it, but then again Ill probably play the game rather than make a video :)

edit: i did make the video

Think I´ve spoiled a Dodge Challenger RM with too much overtuning for this event. Can´t even drive straight. Any advice on fixing it or just get another car? Thanks in advance.

I used the Toyota 7 Race car '70 which is the prize car of B-spec Extreme 'Like the wind'.

You may use standard settings for the first race, but the Cote d'Azur to me required the following tweaking:
Fully maxed with racing softs and full aero setting, tranny set to 250km/h.
First corner as number 3 (if Chapparel ahead restart), then overtaking before the really windy roads.
Car will rev on straights, but the dreaded Chapparel J will only pass if you overshoot corners.

Hi all,

Buy the Camero, race mods and everything but most importantly up the top speed to 180. The only place the race cars will catch you will be on the straights where if you are on default settings they have +20mph at least on you. Up your top speed to 180, remember to cut across th econcrete on the 5th corner and only over take at sensible places; I was in 1st by the end of the 2 nd lap and won by about 8 seconds, and I'm not great at the game.

I spent 2 weeks trying with the Lmabo when tuned, and always ended up in about 4th due to being owned on the straights.

Hope this helps...
